Gaara also has wind and magnet release. Magnet release stops people's movements btw and I'm pretty sure Toph can't bend A MAGNETIC FORCE!!! Benders cannot bend someone elses attack until they reliased there contol on it ( the attack). Given that Gaara is always in control of his sand Toph cannot bend it anyway and even if she did Gaara can control it back and if she turns the sand into earth( if that is possible with earthbending) Gaara can simply turn it back into sand. And Toph cannot manipulate all metals.

Let me drop some knowledge on you, Gaara is MUCH deadlier than Toph. She's not a ninja, a trained killer. In fact, I know that Gaara's body count is massive due to his bloodlust in early Naruto. As for her controlling his sand, impossible. Too much is merged with the sand for her to even hope of overwhelming and bending. Gaara's mothers soul and his own chakra, two things Toph would have to overcome that she'd have no idea how to overcome, are blocking her control. Even if she did bend it, could she bend a tailed beasts Tailed Beast Bomb and send the hulking ball of PURE CHAKRA back at him? It wouldn't have sand and it's more than powerful enough to kill her. In the end, she'd be either crushed under a Sand Tsunami and buried alive under pressure that would prevent all movement or hit by a Tailed Beast Bomb and vaporized in an instant. Gaara doesn't need elements other than sand, he's mastered his ability to control sand to the point where it's instinctual. If he doesn't have sand, he can grind up other minerals in the earth around him to make more of it. It's how he used Sand Tsunami against Kimimaru, afterall. Also... He's a Kage Level Shinobi with Shukaku in his gut, he has too much chakra for Toph to overwhelm by a massive amount. In general, Gaara has every advantage. Heck, his sand can even become tens of times harder than steel, maybe even more, since EARLY GAARA broke Kimimarus hardest bone with his strongest sand. He chose to create a 'Shield of Shukaku' using the hardest minerals in the sand, so his sands strength can even vary massively. Also... He managed to create sand armor capable of tanking a few blows from Lee when he used Hidden Lotus. Also, Gaara's sand armor gives him a massive weight for his size. Lee, with one of the gates released and his weights off, struggled to kick Gaara into the air for a primary lotus. As for speed, Gaaras sand can keep up with and exceed lightning timers as shown in most battles he's been in. Also, as a shinobi, he has training in Taijutsu and has shown skill with weapons. Tophs strong, but Gaaras feats and stats far outclass hers by a long shot. Edit: She's never seen chakra, how would she know how to control it enough to separate it from the sand? Even Madara can't separate Gaara's sand from his chakra. Madara, the guy who was wrecking many Tailed Beasts at once and can summon planetary devastations at will with just his chakra and eyes. I'm sorry, but she probably wouldn't even know where to begin with that. Not to mention how strong Gaara's chakra is. He's even more skilled at controlling sand than Toph is with basic earth, she doesn't do it instinctively like he does. In fact, it's second nature to him... Stated by early Gaara, not kage Gaara, early Gaara.

Cameron Harding Her only real chance is if gaara doesn't see her as a threat and doesn't really try all that hard but even then his sand would auto defend him. Gaara also has magnet release, which is basically an magnetic force made of chakra, that has been shown to stop movement of MADARA UCHIHA. Heck even gaara's basic sand, without metal or other material, stopped alive madara with sage mode and 1 rennigan eye from moving so I'm sure it would stop Toph. Toph has earth manipulation while gaara has sand control. Two different things as gaara has full control and I'm pretty sure gaara could stop Toph from even using the earth if he wanted to.

Firstly Gaara has magnet release and wind release so sand isn't his only weapon. Two his sand is alive thanks to his mother's soul which means she can't control it. Three Gaara was able to react to Madara who is much faster than the forth Raikage who's lariat is light speed as confirmed in the guides so he speed blitzes her. Four if we're talking about jinchuriki Gaara he can transform into Shukaku and then it's over. So the results are any version of Gaara that is not dead or really weakened destroys Toph, yes even newborn baby Gaara due to Shukaku being able to come out and literally blow some air on her until she's dead. Edit: I looked it up and he has lightning release too don't know how skilled he is at using it though he also has earth release but that's not really important
