I wonder if the reason the Traveler doesn't acquire the Pyro Element as easily as in other regions is because the Sacred Flame is using the full power of the Pyro Authority to keep the Abyss under control which prevents the Traveler from resonating with the element. With this I can imagine 3 ways for them to acquire the Pyro Element: - Inheriting the Ancient Name of the first Pyro Archon or Pyro Dragon - Acquiring a part of the Sacred Flame - Obtaining possession of the Pyro Gnosis

Didn't they mention that Natlan had less than a year's time before its destruction? That means the sacred flame that's keeping the abyss at bay is dying. In its current state, the flame is too weak to give out elemental power to random travellers willy nilly.

maybe its capitano who needs to die and turn to ash and be reborn with new name, join us, and then become playable. hes the twin, he looks like the one with scales right? because if the pyro archon has twin, then the story sucks because we already have that in inazuma. imagine the MC, elecro archon and now pyro archon have all twins.

​@@ArgosThePeacock thats the main plot, you need to change your name to be something else. same case for nahida(different branch), wanderer, furina, neuvilette (reborn), mini durin which makes sense if its the main plot. wanderer case is different, because wanderer does not have a name, capitano on the other hand maybe reborn. or signora. who ever is to be reborn.

It'd be boring if it didn't make sense, predictive, the progression lacked depth or the reasoning had resemblance, but they are all miles apart in terms of execution, so unless one's mind is made up, you can actually see the complexity in the execution and visualize the intricacies beyond the tunnel.

I dont know it this is what's implied, but I feel like the night soul blessings are powers obtained from ancient heroes. Losing the blessing is like dying in the sense that you can no longer summon those powers. mavuika's blessing is xbalanque, capitano's is dead and trying to get back or ressurect that's why his business is more than just the tsaritsa's.

I think the comment about Capitano not suffering from heat stroke actually disproves his identity as a Sovereign. When Neuvillette is in the desert, he equates the heat/dryness to that of an assassination attempt. My assumption, based on this line, is that Sovereigns thrive in their own element and are especially weak outside their element. So I think it's reasonable to assume a Cryo Sovereign would be especially weak in the nation of pyro.

True. Also if you compare some of his combat moves (the few we saw in the trailer) thy looks suspiciously similar to some of Kaeya's Favonius bladework. Someone even made a youtube video comparing their combat moves. No way Capitano is a Sovereign. I still think he is/was the Bloodstained Knight. I also think he is potntially dead. The ornaments on his coat look like a ribcage, and a missing heart.

Neuvillette is a special case, azhdaha was born despite zhongli being alive, and deviln was born while venti is an archon, It's only neuvillette who couldn't be reborn with the archon because egeria took his place as the heart of the primordial sea

@@Alex1477 in cn azhdaha is called dragon sovereign, besides, with azhdaha's existence it would be weird to include another ancient geo dragon to liyue, so yeah azhdaha is the geo sovereign And i didn't include apep because she didn't die before the dendro throne was created, so even the old dendro archon wouldn't have stopped her from being reincarnated because she didn't die to begin with In fact i think the primordial one didn't want the dragons to die, because as nahida said, apep's death would release soo much dendro energy into teyvat that would render the world inhospitable And maybe the same goes for other dragons, and my head cannon is that phanes tasked the shades with getting the authority of hydro, but they accidentally killed the hydro dragon somehow, so phanes order the creation of egeria in order to stop the primordial sea from flooding teyvat, then phanes decided to get the authorities themselves instead of letting the shades do it

@@mitab1 about azhdaha yeah I remember reading that bit of info, it's just that he hasn't been called a dragon sovereign by any character or as far as I remember not in any english text. He could very well be one and might be confirmed later on (in eng) 🤷‍♂️ or maybe it's an issue with the english text itself just like how they changed zhongli's dialogue at the end of the quest from just the heavens to heavenly principles. For the record I'm with you about him being a sovereign.

not reborn, but acquire their real power. Neuvillette was reborn when Focalors still existed. But he didn't have the real hydro authority until the archon handed it over to the sovereign dragon.

I wonder if there were a few more major tribes missing - Vanessa’s tribe (?pyro tribe), an abyss-aligned tribe/collection of defectors, and a celestial tribe (worship celestia directly) - the last two being heavy headcanons It’d be cool if minor tribes/settlements blended different elements (?elemental reactions) to further diversify areas [ex underwater miners, hydro +geo] again, major headcanon

The interesting thing is, that Xbalanque is the sun god and Hunaphu (god of maize and moon) is the one who gets sacrificed. BUT that is Hun Hunaphu, the twins farher who had also a twin brother. They play the ball game and his head gets severed from his body. His brother steals it and burries under a tree. The tree grows as one with his head, bears skull fruits and has HunHunaphu's head hanging from it, too. Then, the head spits into a maiden's plam who gets pregnant and has the twins X and H. H and X plans revange after they learn about their father and uncle. They do all kinds of trickery with their power to outsmart their elder siblings and the underworld. Soo... This two stories might get mixed a bit but... Still, fits. So I argue that X and H are reincarnated dragons who take revange on their former conterparts. Maybe one Pyro other Cryo. And Capitano might be without body who needs to be reborn, but is not sucrificed. Mauvikanseems to do some sacrifice later in game. He still could be Xbalanque who is entombed and so he has no body (but we know you can exist without one). This would explain his Nazgul look. And Hunaphu could be Mauvika who needs to play with Capitano (Xbalanque) and get sacrificed so her twin can take revange (would explain Capitano's alignment with the Fatui and how his personality is a bit off compared to the psycho bunch of the high ranker Harbingers). Capitano is rumored to have no vision. So... He could be someone who doesn't need one. Delusions can be fake like Venti's vision, too. So... Having one is not an issue in this theory. Clothes doesn't seem to correlate to wearher conditions in this game... But would make sense to have opposing powers as two pyro dragon souverin cannot exist. Maybe Capitano killed the previous archon or even dragon to creat MJ. And that is how he became entombed. Maybe is body was neaded to keeep the primal fire... Idonno. But I think he is the Cryo dragon...

It would be refreshing to see a plot twist in which the previous Archon didn't die but was roaming the abyss trying to find a permanent solution to the problem but got stuck there for centuries and it was presumed that she was dead. Because in my opinion the whole previous Archon died so the current Archon has trauma is getting old I mean it was fine in with ei and nahida but then in fountain you could tell that egira was not even that important. So just saying God could you imagine if that's the case though

Pyro and fire are not the same and phlogisten and pyro are not the same. Phlogisten seems like has anemo initt. We need Venti to deus ex Machina and explain some stuff.

It doesnt have anemo in it. That would not make sense. It’s has different colors Because its the original fire of teyvat that the sovereign controlled. Just like primodial sea looked purple and blue. Its just the original elements so of course they’ll look different then the regular elements we see in game.

most of the theories about natlan seem the same with what info we have, but im wondering who capitano really is, i guess probably one of the hero twins, maybe he lost against the abyss and had his ancient name destroyed so that's why he has a grudge and possibly abyssal powers.

I think the Simulanka event would overshadow what will happen in Natlan. so, maybe we're just not the hero what they meant to be. we gonna help the "real" hero to save the Natlan dragon from a certain drama. just like what we did to Wanderer and mini Durin.

I Haven’t started Natlan story quest but i speculate “Murata!”is not true “pyro archon” just a human who possessed gnosis which grant her archons status. Anybody can pyro archon as long they win tournaments bonus beat previous holder of pyro gnosis maybe there final requirement some kind of ritual Ascending to godhood. That would make lot sense why enter tournaments There was rumours two pyro or no pyro in Natlan. if both of rumours are correct but at certain extent. No pyro at first part! But later in story we uncounted two pyro achron. Backstory two pyro used to be one single being than slipt in two being known reason. Which made pyro A and pyro B (Pyro A) One of Sacrificed them self protect natlan become fire spirits live in natlan citizens, It would make sense why people Natlan would able to be resurrected repeatedly bc connection of archon.
