This is just silly. Not silly because of the laser swords, but silly to think an army of men in robes wielding essentially 4 foot long sticks would defeat an army using military rifles. The Jedi have zero defense. They are less protected than a man with a buckler. They are essentially naked as far as a bullet is concerned. Seeing as these soldiers have apparently infinite ammo, the Jedi would be mowed down before crossing the gap. Even assuming a single touch of the lightsaber is an instant kill, regardless of point of contact, it should be no contest. Bullets travel faster than laser blasts do in Star Wars, so blocking any of them would be down to blind accidental luck. Try this out yourself. Charge someone firing a paintball gun while trying to hit them with a broomstick. You'd be a painted, welted, fetal positioned mass before you got within smacking distance. And I'd also like to think those soldiers would do better than stand in a giant huddled mass. :|

Well of course Jedi don't exist, but if you're going to simulate them, there's fun in discussion. As for using the force, I didn't see any actual force used in this battle, although admittedly the mass of humans was so cluttered it was hard to tell what was going on. As far as I could tell, the "laser knights" only had their laser swords and that was it. They seemingly swung the swords and if they made contact, a man died. I noticed them taking out sometimes 2 or 3 guys at once due to men being too clustered together, but nothing to indicate force being used. I'm still pretty sure the game was implying bullets were being blocked by swords, and even considering plasma swords... there's a reason swords aren't efficient to use anymore. I love swords but you don't bring a sword to a gun fight. All these "Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator" videos have ridiculous sizes of armies. What I'd like to see are less people, maybe standard squad sizes, so it's easier to tell what's going on. Or even a 1 on 1 "laser knight" vs. soldier with a gun so it's easier to tell what abilities they gave "laser knights".

There are no Jedi or laser weapons (at least none irl that operate like Star Wars blasters where you have individual shots with a visible front and back) from a realistic standpoint, so you can only determine the speed of them from the actual movies. Even if the Force was real, it's still limited by human reaction and movement speed. I know Jedi are trained to feel the attacks coming, but they still have to physically move, even if their reaction speed is heightened buy the Force. You cannot block them all, and odds are in such huddled masses that a Jedi blocking one bullet isn't whipping his laser sword around in time to block another. The Jedi are outnumbered here 8 to 1 against apparently guns with infinite ammo. You can't block them all, and your Jedi robe is not protection. Think about Order 66. If the Force was that good at blocking bullets or feeling your enemy's presence enough to increase your natural human reaction, it wouldn't have been successful, or would have been much harder. That's Jedi vs. trained soldiers who, as clones, are all perfectly equal fighters. You just can't block them all.

chris bastin the were only able to reflect blaster fire because blasters don't shoot solid projectiles. The Jedi shouldn't have been able to survive. This is the reason why Jedi hunters used "slug throwers" (what we call guns that fire solid bullets)
