4's versus 5 and 6 is USUALLY a split, but ONLY if you can double after split. Since these online casinos have shit rules you actually should hit that instead of split it. Your coach was right.

Cody, imagine if you called out “next hand I will be able to hit a hand that I should probably stay against a dealer 6” and you basically have a max bet out there. Then the dealer deals and you have 13 against dealer 6. And you hit ..even with dealer asking if you’re sure…5 of hearts. Dealer has 10 under. Hits and gets face. When you talk about seeing shit in blackjack, that made me think of that. Who calls it out like that, have it happen, and actually follow through with it, and it actually happens that way? I did this just today.

You either hit or double on the 4s (usually double). Had you done that, you would have won that hand as the dealer would have busted with 22. NEVER split 4s on a dealer 5.
