Hey Daley, shooting the engine to kill is mostly a myth, a lot of the time it won’t do much in MoW unless it catches on fire, which seems rare. If it can shoot, it’s just as deadly to anything it can shoot at as it was before. Shooting the area in front of the engine, where the crew is, is a much better option.

I highly doubt that. It’s pretty obvious that it’s a game and so it’s not gonna be comparable in size nor in terrain or layout

Iwo is my favorite battle of WWII because I had a grandfather and my great uncle (his brother) fight on it. Both were part of the initial invasion, and miraculously both survived almost unscathed. Then second would be Normandy because my OTHER grandfather was part of that initial invasion as well at Omaha. But yeah my grandfather and his brother were in separate squads in the same division. They were on the same landing boat as each other and were around the 3rd wave of landings. Once they hit the beach they didn’t see each other for another couple days and when they saw each other after the beach was won and they set up a base there, they both couldn’t believe it they each thought the other was surely dead because of how lucky even just they were to make it

28:25-28:55 dude (28:25) has 177 infantry kills as an infantry man himself. I think if Genjo can be allowed to stay in the back with 28 inf and 4 tank kills the 1st guy should be allowed to retire on the spot, never seen an infantry man with that many kills.

I agree, I played it as well, it just needed more units spawning in front different sections, and a better variety of weapons. It felt very easy and the biggest problem was that my troops began running out of ammo, not really the enemies

What this game really needs is the ability to deploy your troops just like in the Total War series - you can just place everyone with one button while paused.

Amazing and the setup is very fun. Good job daley. Also ya Japanese tanks poo poo. There equal match for the hogo was maybe the stewart with had a 37mm cannon just like the hogo but yea the Sherman beats like anything other than some anti tank guns. Also personal carrier exploded.

Yeah, after a certain time have them bombard the shoreline defenses and make it damn near impossible to hold them like 15-20 minutes left in the game. Gives the Americans a foothold and a chance if they haven’t been able to push up from the beach at that point.

Well the fleet bombarded and bombed the island for over a month in real life so the combat in this episode doesn’t really make since. My grandfather fought on that beach and lost a lot of friends.

Honestly i think there just was way to much greenery for the battle of iwo jima. In real life the bombed the place hard and sent a bunch of naval bombardments shelling the place hard. So realistically, it would be mostly mud and rocks but very few grass and trees

in reality, Iwo Jima been bombard by a USS battle ships for a whole week. After been bombard, the Island looks lika a moon surface. Meanwhile there no casulties from Japan side because they turn a Mountain into a massive fortress ! Iwo Jima sand beaches so muddy and soft. Many Sherman Tanks failed to landed. Only LVT-4 Water Buffallo (++upgrade) could walk on it. in the end of the war, Japan losses 97,8% of their man on Iwo Jima. Meanwhile USA losses 21,3% of their man.
