Thanks :). And it's Diffuse magic. It reduces magic damage taken by 90% and also reversing any magic effects on me to the caster. It does not heal me, the self heals that monk's use are Chi Wave and Expel Harm.

i haven't played WoW and a few months and im highly considering coming back, do you think i should try to make a monk? are monks really good in pvp? also if a friend were to use a scroll of resurrection on me what lvl 80 character do you think i should get. my max level character right now is an 85 dk. i was highly considering a warrior but what do you think?

I think it's going to be mainly for Pve because in PvP they can be cc'd and when cc'd it's a huge dmg loss. But idk I haven't played the PTR so I can't really say.

Maybe its just you. Ive ran into several monks while lvling my ele sham and Im amazing at pvp, these guys were either deadly when they got close, or extremely mobile and able to avoid dying by running. The super high powered damage ones were able to be kited well enough but they just didnt die, constant heals, and when they got close, critting me for 40% of my hp.

It has a pretty high skill cap in pvp and beginners usually don't do well on them
