Just pure athleticism! This is the "true" dunk, not some Jordan Kilganon push-up type. Magnificent.
@zincinator50005 жыл бұрын
Don't disrespect Jordan Kilganon like that. Without any push offs he still has the craziest dunk repertoire with some of the most ingenuitive creations within the past few years and some of the best hops. Jordan Kilganon can do dunks Oliver can't even do on a low rim. No disrespect to Oliver, he has INSANE bunnies, but no where near Jordan Kilganon's technical level of skill.
@AlkanPaganini5 жыл бұрын
@@zincinator5000 I do respect Mr. Kilganon's creativity, yes, the "dunking skill" part. But sorry, I have to disagree with you about the overall "dunking ability" part. The charming part of dunking rely heavily on the hang-time, which is proportional to the vertical jumping height, which means higher vert leads to better dunking ability. Here, the maximum vertical should be achieved without "any" support, or the entire "purity" would be flawed. Of course, the hide-and-seek dunk is amazing! But you can see from the vids of Jordan Kilganon's dunks that best ones of his dunks are push-offs, such as scorpion, push-off windmill, etc. Think about this: we use a man as a push-off support, how about a trampoline? how about some kind of booster on the sneakers? The greatness of these high flyer is our worship to pure athleticism and longing for defying gravity. To me, dunking with outside support is like cheating.
@zincinator50005 жыл бұрын
@@AlkanPaganini Both scorpion and windmills or any dunk for that matter he can do without push off. If anything it's more rare that he does a push off dunk. There is only one post so far in 2019 on his Instagram where he did a push off dunk. And why did you have to point out Kilganon in the first place? Like he's the only one to do "push off" dunks. Can someone enjoy a video without busting shots at other great dunkers?
