Thank you!!! This video is 6 years old but this bag is exactly what I’m looking for.

Excellent review! I was looking for a good tactical style luggage without breaking the bank. Originally, 5.11 only offers this in black but now I have a choice between black, double tap and sandstone. I just got mine from the mail today and I really love it. I do appreciate your detailed review on the Mission Ready 2.0. Thanks a lot! Cheers!

Thanks for vid, I'm considering purchasing this bag. Does the bag have rigid sides or can it collapse down when empty for storage?

Hi bkcanada01, I would guess that it probably is. You should check the hand luggage size with the airline as this differs from one to the other. Take a look at 5.11's DC FLT Line rolling bag as this may be the right size for what you want. I will be getting one next year for just this reason. I hope this helps, Regards, MKR.

Greetings MKR, This is a great bag. Do you reckon this would be a little too big to take as carry-on? I travel often and prefer not to check the bags in. What's your view? Thanks for your reviews!

Hi J.D. Wraith, The sides are quite ridged, more so the corners which allows it to stand up on end. I dont know if 5.11 still have any of the original versions of this bag, but the sids were soft on that, it might be worth dropping them an email to ask. Regards, MKR.

Great review!! I am stuck between the mission ready and the soms 2.0. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Will be shipping out for about 6+ months. Cheers

Hi Ryan, I would say that the Mission Ready will hold more than the SOMS 2.0. But, I would suggest with the length of your deployment that you consider the CAMS 2.0 due to the extra space it has. Regards, MKR.
