We need to be in the spirit to discern what is driving the loud cry or loud voice- is it God, emotions, or the enemy? It’s not a one size fits all. In this case, I discern that the woman was crying out from emotions, and as a pastor, he was trying to keep order. Now, should he have snapped his fingers at her? I’m not sure. But, I agree with why he wanted her to be silenced at that moment. I think we are too hypersensitive as believers. We shun leaders for trying to keep order while there are WAY more leaders who let all hell and sin break loose freely in their services.

I grew up under excellent leadership. My Pastor was highly educated, he had an earned PH.D. Never once didI hear him disdain , shame or humiliate anyone. I remember a mentally disturbed man walked down to the alter and stood right infront of the Bishop gently said to the man, " If you'll give me a few minutes to finish my message, I'll be be happy to speak with you" . No he was the worship leader when the worship leader switch gears so does the congregation. Just because he was the only one singing doesn’t mean he’s not leading the congregation into worship there is a difference between worship and praise2whe you are praising the people are more vocal but screaming over praise is not the Holy Spirit someone’s must usher in Gods presence in decency and order. She was out of order the Holy Spirit will move in order not chaos. A lot of these comments are folks who think screaming is a move of the spirit, most often it is flesh it’s time for us to grow up in God and stop attacking the man of God and seek Godly counsel and wisdom .

Read were the Preacher aka Priest trying to worship God by lighting incense where ONLY the Levites were supposed too... According to the Word you can quench the spirit of God but you can't control when it comes or how it comes. Reason being, his response to her being out of order can also be out of order in how he responds. I’ve seen this many times where ministers don’t like something they respond in flesh. I’ve been watching Lighthouse live every Sunday for the past 2 months. The spirit is always high. From the start of worship until he starts his sermon is a true worship experience. Every. Single. Sunday. Pastor Keion has never stifled worship. There have been one or two Sundays since I’ve been watching where he didn’t preach and we just stayed in worship because there was such a strong move of God. With that being said, he can’t not preach every Sunday and sometimes you have to sing softly to bring everyone back down. I can’t say I’ve heard the screaming every Sunday because I don’t really give it too much attention, but probably almost every Sunday. Its always sounded like it was coming from the back of the church to me and not the choir. When I heard him hush her, I didn’t think he was wrong and I definitely didn’t think it was a viral worthy moment.

They had a service a few weeks ago that was only worship called “Online Worship Experience.” I heard the screaming then but I didn’t pay it any mind. I just went back to the video and at the 59 min mark you can see and hear the person screaming. Idk if it’s just wailing or if it’s a spirit manifesting but I can see how it could cause some annoyance if it’s happening every Sunday. Lighthouse isn’t a CCM worship service. Denominations aside, in Christianity for worship you have to choose the “mode” of worship first. It’s either orthodox or liturgical or charismatic. They each have rules and many versions. How do we know that sister was not crying out to God?! Go pray for her, (or send another minister to pray for her) instead of telling her to hush and snapping his fingers at her! Just heard about this story today and believe that the Holy Spirit is a gift from God and when the Holy Spirit comes down it shouldn't be disturbed. There are people who are sincerely seeking the word of God. At the church and churches I've been a member of when the Holy Spirit comes on someone the Pastor would say let the Holy Spirit have his way, some people people would shout, run, dance or fall out in the Spirit and no one would be interrupted, the service would still be proceeding.

" Do thing in order occur to the bible ". People don't want to be told what to do.. Spiritual discipline is coming back. God is a God of honor and he is Holy. The Holy Spirit doesn't act unseemly. It’s funny that people would say ‘she does this every service’ as justification for her public shaming. The pastor, the worship team leaders, the elders and all of them had that many opportunities to call her to order. Call the lady to a meeting or counselling session outside the main service and explain why she needs to be quiet in services. The most ironic part is the pastor saying people an offended by order? No sir they’re offended by your lack of it.

I feel he should have handled it differently. Several options were available, such as: Have a minister or usher take her out; have a fellow choir member quietly pray with her; speak with her several times before the service on protocol or order. Never rebuke or correct a person publicly that way. Be sensitive, compassionate and understanding. This is God's church and His people.

After watching the the clip She wasn't the only one worshiping. I heard several voices praising She was just the loudest. And him saying the only voice he wants to hear is Gods but continues to sing got me side eyeing him because HE IS NOT GOD! What he did was so out of order! I also agree with the woman who called in saying WE ARE THE CHURCH! Who is he without his members. The entire body of Christ! Its time for folks to wake all the way up! Especially If y'all agree with what he did! She is a grown woman who deserves respect! Sometimes its not what you say but how you say it..

He was absolutely right in context but we should be careful how we correct. Tap her on the shoulder and tell her to quiet down. The man of God is responsible for order in the worship experience. Often people holler so they seem more spiritual than others. IF she does this all the time they should have a talk with her off camera. Maybe they did that's why he embarrassed her this time. Either way God is a Spirit not an emotion so every emotional experience in church is not a spiritual one. Nothing wrong with an emotion because we human but Emotionalism is the biggest deception in the church. I have watched people holler and scream and cuss you out soon as service over.

I’m sorry but the Holy Spirit will make you holler. Everyone is not quiet, wasn’t quite in the world. This was during worship service so she was not out of order. My mom was told she was too loud once but was told this by a member after the service. Needless to say, she has moved on from that church.

People thought Hannah was drunk while she was praying in her heart (1 Samuel 1:13) I've read the comments before watching the video and the comments suggested she was acting indecent. However, after watching the video myself, I feel otherwise. I don't think she was unseemly... I think she was in order and this is praise and worship... the Bible says the spirit makes intercession through groaning which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26)... this doesn't sound demonic to me nor do I think it called for this... the man of was not preaching and she was not distracting a messaged being delivered from God... How about we talk about the interpretation of his tongues as he speaks loudly to the congregation with it instead of silently and privately??? Talking about he only wants to hear from God but let's hear the interpretation... people be so contradictory... I think she was in order and was crying out to her Heavenly Father...

Having previously been part of a pentacostal church, she wouldn't have bothered me at all if I really came to get something.
