As someone from New Zealand and someone with the utmost respect for the Nyfd thank you for posting this video. albeit sad It fills my heart with warmth and pride to see such care and respect from fellow firefighters to there fallen brothers and sisters. Does anyone know how this hero died? The only consolation I have is knowing he died doing what he loved to do and not many people can say that. RIP with the Angels. Heaven needs firefighters too.

One thing I can say for sure is FDNY, Nassau County does it right! What a sincere tribute - RIP firefighter Tolley - your brothers will continue the mission. Your 2nd anniversary is coming up and you will always be remembered for your heroism and sacrifice. May the Lord bless you and keep you in his care.

Unless I've missed something in most funerals I've seen for fallen FD or PD I see them in the processions. Honestly I don't see the issue with it since they're all there for one reason and that's to show respects to the fallen.
