Rule Infractions • In Contender mode he brings in sushi ingredients, even tho he doesn't eat it it's banned as it's not the proper equipment for intermission. • In Title Defense mode he reads a book during intermission, only water can be brought into the ring as his book counts as foreign object and he might be get misleading information from it. • His Hondo Rush counts as rapid punches. • Bowing to your opponent is ok but bowing while looking at them isn't. While his hachimaki would count as headgear which is normally illegal, the Major Circuit is equivalent to medium circuit boxing which makes his hackimaki legal. Piston Hondo has 4 infractions.

ッ何をやってるか分からない When he misses his jabs, he either says “Nūgata?” (Correctly “Nūgashita?”, meaning “I missed?”) or something sounding like “Shyuta?” or “Shyūdo?”, which does sound a bit like “Shut up”. Also, before he steps into place for his Hondo Rush, he sounds like he’s saying “You SUCK!” Also, if you knock him down with a body blow, he says “Tamago!.... Tamago...”, in which tamago translates to egg, as in egg sushi.

Kinda sad how they nerfed his Honda rush. I used used to get mowed over mercilessly by it back in Mike Tyson's punch out. Now it's just 3 punches and an uppercut or a hook. Which is alright, but you can dodge 1 punch and the uppercut/hook getting punched only twice. Which is not all that much since you can just heal some of it back. And comparing it to everyone else, you often take alot more damage.
