This host is absolutely awful. This guy acts like he's from buzzfeed. He's so unprofessional and feels so out of place. I don't think i've ever heard him say anything related to wine even once. This is not the place to be trying to be funny and acting like a clown with every remark and comment.

I think this host is great. he shows what wine is about, its not about snotty sophisticated whatever, its about having fun in an elegant scenario. people need to stop giving him a hard time saying he ruined the show and dosent belong, wine isint about being serious and even the very wine proffesionals can tell u that, wine is about having fun and enjoying yourself.

Wine is about 'fun' in the most general sense, but based on most comments most are watching this to learn from (and marvel at) John Szabo's (and others') tremendous skill, which took countless hours and hard work to accomplish. WineAlign - listen to the majority of the comments: 1) choose a less distracting host, 2) cut out the clueless guests (they're not 'experts'). In summary, make the show resemble seasons 1-3 again. Please.

The host is great! Wine is fun, remember this when you're evaluating 6 wines in front of 5 Master Sommeliers and you'll instantly calm down and it will give you the confidence that you need. Even the guests are enjoying Sean's jokes because they pull them back to reality, which is: wine is fun!
