once you practice more and you apply the knowledge, you will see a pattern, and your score will increase. Then you will be able to answer the questions without being guided.

I recommend before the test day you sleep at 6 pm and wake up 3 am on the morning of the test day do one practice test and fix it should be enough time and you will remember what you missing

5:12 at this point I would just start plugging in numbers starting from answer E until you find the largest on that checks out. Remember, this is a timed test, always take shortcuts. If you have a good calculator you can go back and edit previous problems and change the W value.

Wonderful video! You definitely helped refresh my mind on old topics. Tip for other people watching and solving the problems- you dont have to do it the same way he does! If you can try and rationalize problems not using algebra then do it! Just find whatever works best for you so that you can do it correctly and quickly. I have the ACT in two days and forgot to study, so good luck to everyone else cramming 🤣

Problem 26 : (32+36) is to 2/3 as X is to 1; X = total number of marbles. X =111, then 1/3 of 111 is 37. Very simple!

That was a very good video man, keep the hard work up, but I have a concern about Q #51, csc is the opposite of sin, so the 3 on the HL should go up and you should use the pythagorean theorem to get the other side so you can get the answer, I might be wrong but that’s how I see it.

@@zekiaydinli1393 I took the test a few months ago (I believe it was in December), and I can confirm that the first 20-30 questions are pretty easy for the most part. So yes, the real exam will ask similar questions to this. I'm actually going to take the exam again next week, and I have to say that this video has helped me a lot on the later questions. on number 4 during the quadratic equation , can you tell me why you divided by 2 ?

He divided by two because the quadratic would be able to be factored much easier if the first term “2w^2” did not have a constant in front of it, and was just “w^2”

Honestly I think he made the question a lot harder than what it actually is. a+b =16 ab=48 Just say what the numbers could be? And you’ll end up w 12 and 4 like 5 seconds of thinking

i also got b because when u multiply sqrt 13 times sqrt 13 it’s just 13 because the sqrts cancel out. If u did c, the answer would be 65. So the correct answer is b. The numerators cancel each other so u can just ignore that. I think in the video he mentioned saying the answer was sqrt 13 but i think he made a mistake.

Hey, just to let you know that you are smart, but you don’t know how to explain. You rush things and you aren’t specific enough. I stopped watching the video when the answer was 12 and there was another answer of four you made no sense after we factored W -12 W -4. All you had to say was the answer is 12 when the other option was 4. Go too fast. you should consider teaching more thoroughly .

He’s not teaching here. He has videos on his channel for skill specific lessons. This is a walkthrough of a full length practice test so he’s trying to show the speed at which one will need to be able to solve and how quickly you’re going to need to transition between mathematical skills. The ACT is meant to test knowledge that high school graduates should* have so even there this is meant to just he review

This took 2 hours, the actual test is 1 hour. We try to replicate test pace to some extent. Let me know if you have any feedback on that
