Mechanically speaking, sure. But what matters is the knowledge that transmits from the pencil to the test that is in front of you, which determines an accurate representation of comprehension based on the topics provided.

act math hack #1 - be good at math

second math hack #2 load good programs on your graphing calculator. A couple of the problems she used are much easier if you have the right program. For example, #24 problem is just a quadratic function with a constant term of -60000 and you're looking for the smallest root. If you have the quadratic formula on your calculator, it literally takes two seconds to solve. Take a look at my program for solving quadratics.

Hey i am a newly 12 grader.. Because we start class on September in our country . So we r just in unit 2 we didn't finish the grade 12 portion.. Will that affect my result? Is anyone sure about whether programs are allowed? I read this on the ACT page Updated August 5, 2019. "...graphing calculator, as long as it is not on the prohibited list and it is modified (see below)"... "Calculators that can hold programs or documents: Remove all documents and remove all programs that have computer algebra system functionality." Seems like you can use a TI-84, but no programs may be installed.

How old is old? The old SATs are no longer good practice and I wouldn't recommend it.

SAT Calculator policy "you won't be required to clear your memory" collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat-subject-tests/taking-the-test/calculator-policy -- they seem more worried about you smuggling out test questions than using programs or items stored in memory.

TI nspire CAS calculators are not allowed to be used. You can't use CAS in testing. There's more specifications about which calculators are and aren't allowed on the ACT website
