I already have the metra blazer and Octave coat in my pattern collection but haven't attempted them yet. I love the allegro pants but I'm going to add the duet trousers as I want to have a go at fitting more fitted pants in the future. I have found Love Notion patterns really good, the instructions are excellant, and each pattern has so many options. I also enjoy seeing them worn for real on all the testers. Karina's videos in particular have given me a lot of confidence to try new techniques.

I’ve been thinking of making a long coat and the Octave looks like a good option. Thanks for the recommendations.

The legato jeans was the best pattern I've ever purchased and sewn! I followed the course once all the way through before I started and I now have three pairs ( I have aletered the leg width to make regular legs and more narrow) ....a great pattern!

this sale has made it Love Notions week for me. 🤣🤣I am one of those people who has avoided making pants. I have only made 1 pair and it was the Duet. It was work, but, they came out beautifully. I have the Octavia but, haven't made a coat yet. The Aria has to be my current favorite of the 5 you listed. Because I have made 2. One each of the collar types. They are a fun make and look awesome. I wear them as a shirt and as a cover up.

I love the Metra Blazer. I did purchase the course and so glad I did. It does hold your hand through the entire sewing process. Thank you Tami for the wonderful pattern and course. Next on my list is the Duet Trousers.

Traveling for the first time in awhile. I am one of those who did not make pants. Or rather I made them but did not wear them. I made two pair of Duet trousers recently with many fitting changes. So Pleased. Are they a perfect fit? Pretty close. I bought the Legato jeans in the sale because the Duets went so well. The Duet fitting booklet is great. The Metra blazer I passed by until recently. I am retired and did not see the need of a blazer. But Karina Trinidad convinced me that a sleeveless vest would be useful. Lengthened a bit and I love it. Goes with the Duet ponte pants. Then I needed a blouse so up came the Rhapsody which had that tricky binding but it worked too! A suit with a casual air. Perfect. Just finish an Aria from a border print. Buttonholes and buttons to do. Love it. Thinking of another in a suede. Two Classic tees are done too. Wow! Sewing up a storm. Thank you for very makeable patterns.

The duet pants and metra blazer could make a nice everyday suit. You are so right that there is no sense in putting off trying to learn new techniques.

I agree about that combo for sure!!

Things happen for a reason! I actually prefer the brighter recordings. The other sections have lower lighting, so couldn’t see the makes that well. Either way, enjoy the presentation and makes :-)

Please consider adding small bust adjustments as well as your usual FBA to your patterns. That would be very inclusive!

I've made the Metro blazer 3 times now. I just love it. I've a cream version for using on those cooler summer evenings (I live in the UK we get lots of those 😁) and a couple of darker ones for the cooler months. I found it relatively easy to sew but I did have to refer to the video that comes with the instructions to get the welt pocket right. I've got the legato jeans in my patterns but haven't tried them yet. I am going to have a go at the Crescendo Jeans (I appreciate not featured in this video) as my first step towards making jeans. I have made a couple of pairs of trousers with mixed success. I've the coat in my patterns but think this may be a next year project as I haven't got time this year. I love LN patterns as the fit with the least amount of alternations needed.

I sew this type of pattern and love princess seams, they really help with fitting around the bust. But! Jeans fill me with dark thoughts. I struggle with fitting trousers, I get diagonal lines going from my hips to the inside of my knees and I feel that until I get this cracked, then making jeans can wait. I do have the Love Notions jeans pattern already, but I bottle out at the last moment. 😢

Aww, bottoms can definitely be frustrating! I would start with a shell pair of shorts -- just the legs and waist, but cut the legs off a few inches below the crotch and then focus on getting the hips/crotch to fit. Then move down from there. Also, if you haven't grabbed the Legato course, highly recommend you do! It takes ya through step by step once you're ready to sew, to make sure you've got the best shot at a well made pair of jeans! ❤️ You can do it! We're here to help. ❤️ ~J

The Metra and the Octiv (I this is at least close to their names). Perfect for “New Job” clothes.

The added section on the Legato jeans (just bought this! 😀👍) is bright and the audio is great but for the rest of the vlog, it’s darks and the audio is quite poor in portrait version (on my phone). Just thought you’d prefer to know than not. Think I need to get the Legato video tutorial too as I always said I’d never make jeans 🤣🤣
