Man you are seriously my source of knowledge for this game.. love the vids

I’m now convinced that I need to master the shock wave. They’re definitely awkward but I think they can really give you an edge and it’s worth practicing
@Zockmeister2 жыл бұрын
The reason why i never used shockwaves in the past is because i thought they're supposed to be offensive items that you throw at enemies, like grenades. They can work like that, but 90% of the time i use them on myself.

I played early seasons of Fortnite on an iPad. When Epic and Apple divorced I had no way to play (most of my playing was done as my husband snored). I am trying to start back on my desktop/keyboard/mouse. So I am basically a beginner. Your videos are so helpful to someone who has a degree of knowledge but have missed out on so much. Please keep doing them and please don't assume everyone who watches is "good"! I love your content. I wish you did totally "beginner" content. I think there is an audience out there... don't think I'm the only one. Thanks for all you do. I've gotten some great tips and info from you. Peace!

I like using them from the basements of buildings when I know my opponent is directly above. Good scare factor and reposition, and changes the environment enough to inconvenience the enemy.

Thanks for the great video again. I love carrying shockwaves, using them in end games for high ground retakes or throwing opponents in the storm. Still require quite some practice though since my throws haven't been 100% reliable (ended up throwing myself in storm).

I got a pretty good win using shockwaves yesterday, my squad was pinned down in a Bush by a team on a hill, so I shockwaved up behind them, my team were dispersed in different direction by the shock so when the squad above were trying to zap my friends I was behind and they didn't even realise 🤣

thank you so much for making videos with tips like these, I started playing a few days ago when I got my pc and I’m mostly a self learner, I’ve played Fortnite on my friends consoles but never pc. I’ve played other shooting games so Fortnite was pretty easy to learn but these types of videos are really helping me get a lot better at the game

Ima pause the video to say yes this is helpful. The basic stuff that everyone knows is all stuff I don't know. I've thought about taking time each week for a wile to use Shockwave just to get use to how they work.

Glad it was helpful! Like I said in the video I never know what is common knowledge vs what would actually be beneficial to newer players. If there ever is anything just leave a comment on a vid

How do you throw it behind you? I keep blasting myself backwards. Lol. Also what is the best practice map to simply try out various weapons and grenades? Noob questions… Week 2 of Fortnite. Only one win so far from about 30 games. Made it to level 39 so far, so pretty happy with my learning curve.

Could you do a video on how to transition from zero builds into regular solo / duo / squad games. I am a returning player i stopped playing is season 5, and my building is shockingly bad. I have only played royal rumble and have been schooled when it comes to my bulding and editing skills. Could you do another top 5 slills to learn /practice for improving building. Thanks brother

do you think the grappler would be an alternative for shockwaves or are you still preferring the shockwaves?

It is modeled after the Aug assault rifle which is a real gun and its just been called that ever since.
