Hey there! I wouldn't recommend shooting people with feathers, as they could then use the feather and the bolt would be wasted. Use it on somebody else. When someone is using a feather, only lightning can stop them. :)

That is understandable! However, the reason I recommend shooting those with feathers is so that they’re forced to use their feather sooner than they’d like. Ideally, those who hold feathers are waiting til they’re in first or wait to use it before a dropper in order to get another boost of some sort. When I hold feathers, I wait til I’m in first place and use it only once I’m attacked by a bolt. This is what a lot of people do who hold them. If they manage to get into first with a feather, this is not good for opponents because it enables said person to get far away from the pack and less susceptible to being taken down. If they get lucky and get a boost in first, they’re going to be much harder to bring back. However, if someone catches on early and shoots them, the holder is required to use their feather or risk losing their item, and thus they can’t get as far ahead as they’d like. I know it may seem like a waste of magic, but shooting them prevents future problems for you and/or your team in the race. (It’s a lot easier to shoot someone with a feather before they get ahead) sometimes you don’t even need to shoot them and can just fake the shot by setting your crosshairs over them and it’s enough to scare them into using it. If you can scare them into using it, then wait til their feather runs out to shoot them and bring them back. Hope that made sense!

Haha thank you! I know I’m these videos I try to show myself at my ‘best’ but in all honesty I’m not that good. Catch me on an off day and you’ll understand :’). As for the speed tips video, it is something we could do! However, Dino and I are far from being ‘very good’ at speed. We both can efficiently perform the bunny hop but we don’t know a whole lot of secrets other than that. We are interested in the idea though and might make one in the future!

What I still don't understand is why some players reset to the back in the beginning of a race...?

If you’re in the last places in the races, you’re more likely to get a boost (if you have a speed horse with 120 speed you will have powerful boost)

wanna know why im so dumb? im in first place (infront) i get lightning (a rare magic item) i use it because, people like me go by color and sound and dont actually look at the gauge i miss, that means losing the magic item. thanks me, i had a good shot there

Of course, it’s entirely up to you to decide whether it’s honorable or not!

Should people not breed speed horses then? Or even use magic items in a smart way? That's a big gap in logic really. If a Boost is unfair, then so is holding a Bolt, holding a Shield, holding a Feather, etc. A Boost is an item like any other. Using when you deem necessary is a strategy, just as much as holding the Shield spell in 1st place is a smart strategy. It's not "unfair", you just have to learn to deal with it, just like everyone learns to deal with Control horses. This is something specific to Alicia's community, because I've never seen anyone call it "unfair" when people use the Mushroom in Mariokart, or any other racing game with items. People are very rude and unfortunately the only advice I can give is to ignore them. Just remember, they were at the same level at one point and very soon with practice you will be surpassing and racing better than them :)
