I use wash cloths made with natural fibers and wash them with my towels. It works fantastic and we've had them for 3+ years now with minimal wear!

How do sanitize those? Would you boil them to kill germs?
@oulafursson11 ай бұрын
yeah, you can boil them or soak them in vinegar water or just throw in the washing machine with other stuff

@@kikirikikikki scrub daddies can go in the microwave (no more than 60 sec) or in the dishwasher for sanitization

@@NikkiDavisI was half kidding. I run my sponges and brushes under scalding hot water to sanitize. My mom onced asked me how do I clean my oven with only dawn soap. I told her the secret to my sucess is boiling hot water. Hot water is the holy grail. I also switch out my dish sponge every three months. which I thought was a responsible amount. I use 4 per year. its probably too much. In other news. Someone posted a video from inside the dishwasher. and its mostly dirty water swooshing around untill the last cycle for rinsing. I wouldnt put any absorbent items in there. Edit: I dont do potlucks because some people wash their dishwashing utensils with their crusty socks and their pet beds and their bathmats

In addition to these awesome tools, we use a 'chainmail' washcloth to clean the large griddle cooktop and the cast iron pans when things are really stuck on

I LOVE these. However... I use Caraway cookware and I really want something sustainable but soft/sensitive on the ceramic lined pots. Any ideas? I used Grove for a while but tbh there's plastic waste
