I'm from Houston and I lived in Fayetteville for about 4 years between 2012 and 2019 and I consider the hogs my adopted second favorite team and man it sucks they can't get it done. they consistently win 40-50 games a year. multiple players are all conference and all American. they almost get a home super regional every season but come tournament time they play their worst baseball. I was there when they lost to south Carolina after that foul pop up. I feel your pain and I'm still pulling for you guys to win the big one hopefully very soon

I hate it when I'm right sometimes. I didn't think they would get out of the regionals. I didn't think they deserved a #5 national seed. DVH gets them motivated for the start of the season then as the weeks go by they start their decline, right in time for the tournament. Nice call pitching Smith only 2 innings in the conference tournament. Did Smith ever pitch into the 7th inning this year? I think I read; they were saving him for June.

Typical post season arkanas meltdown
@andrewgrosze45887 ай бұрын
My thoughts on the season. Need a new hitting coach or new mindset because when you’re one of the least productive teams in college baseball you can’t compete with post season teams. Our pitching started amazing and we got tired a feel asleep and then quit. Our team started to fall apart 3 weeks ago and no one tried to stop it. Get a new hitting coach because what there teaching isn’t working if they haven’t noticed it’s not working. And don’t say it is because you had a whole season to show that it works and never did. Pitching stay locked in and consistent throughout the year. Just vary disappointing another great team down the toilet.
@finchborat7 ай бұрын
Though we went through a murderer's row during May. It was more of that than us falling apart. To me, pitching was starting to run out of gas. I do hope that at the very least, we learn to start practicing situational hitting. If Thompson gets a new job somewhere, it won't be that big a loss. If it happens, we'll see if we can go 3 for 3 with splash hires.

And it hit me during the A&M series that of the last 3 CWS champs, none of them won the SEC West. Based on that, A&M just might be winning their first natty later this month. 2009 was the last time you had an SEC West team (LSU) win the division and the CWS in the same season.
