Because look at the amount of money he paid and amounts he obtained. That would not happen with most average people. Plus I have no doubt the pressure of the public being who he was, was a factor. I worked LEO agency 20yrs, we did the same with high profile cases. The public always expects it and puts much pressure on the agency to investigate. My old boss (sheriff) iis one of the most nationally known sheriffs so we had much publicity too on cases. As he’s very much in the public eye. They always dig deep on rings. Like someone said I think it’s great they’re using the platform so his death wasn’t in vain.

@@Kimberly-gi2jj you missed the point. I get what you're saying about having accountability but doctors do this every day just with legal prescriptions, it's just another perspective but there's really no difference other than ones prescribed, making it legal and the other is not. But the result is still the same. I'm a recovering addict and I can vouch that my story started the same way. Prescription drugs, then moved to street drugs, now I'm back on a prescription drug for my addiction but having one does not make it any better.

The only difference with Michael is that his physician didn't do it for money or greed, his life and family's lives were threatened by one of Latoya's crazy ex-boyfriends who she managed to escape from after being held hostage in his house. He hated Michael and wanted him dead, and to make Latoya suffer, so he got to Michael's physician and forced him to poison Michael. I don't remember all of the details exactly but that was the jist of what I saw on the documentary about his death.

Matthew Perry was also an adult he had an addiction and sought drugs. Evil people well knew the risk of taking drugs because they can be laced at any point in time and incorrectly manufactured with potency and quality issues as many other medication‘s people received from the doctors are today. I have to respect that I think he knew the risk.He made the choice to take the drugs I’m saying this because I think people need to be responsible for their own health to a certain extent and be aware of the risks and make the decision whether you want to take it or not. I fully agree with you these people should be prosecuted and it’s about time this time that they were.

Also, you never hear of law enforcement searching for whoever sold drugs to the poor homeless person who collapsed in the street, only cases that involve the rich and famous get this kind of attention. In this case involving the indictments of five named individuals for specific actions that resulted in the death of Matthew Perry. Three of the people indicted have already agreed to plea agreements. Two were just arrested today, August 15, 2024 who may also make plea agreements soon. Conspiracy THEORIES include the “stolen election,” voter fraud in that election, anything involving the “deep state,” “witch hunts” that have lead to real criminal charges against individuals named in numerous indictments and one that has led to the conviction of Donald Trump on 34 felonies, the “Great Replacement Theory,” and just about anything that comes out of the mouths of Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and others now under criminal indictments in numerous jurisdictions for promoting those conspiracy theories in a concerted attempt, a conspiracy, including RICO type conspiracies, to undermine both the faith in the integrity of our elections and faith in an unbiased judicial system. If it is administered correctly and the doctor is not trying to take advantage of you and make a lot of money you should be fine. There are many drugs that doctors prescribe that are addicting which is why it must be under a doctors care - a good doctor, not like the two that didn't care whether Matt died or not.

Methadone is not a psychedelic...perhaps you mean Methamphetamines. Methadone it's a synthetic opium antagonist and chronic pain med (especially for limb Neurapathy) with a long half life, which makes withdrawal incredibly painful and long lasting, and thus termination from medicinal use a difficult and lengthy process. For many folks clinically administered Methadone is life saving intervention from opioid (Heroin, Hydro) addiction. It is a legal, viable, and a protected class of medical patients, and should NOT be disparaged thus in comments through misinformation or personal bias.

Just like I felt and said. An addict who is clean and wants to stay clean gets K and a new addiction develops. K also affects the psyche. And Matthew had the opportunity to get this stuff. I hope all those responsible are held accountable. With harsh penalties. Otherwise Matthew won't be the last victim. I hope there will be no deals, so a small penalty will be incurred. Remember the verdict on M.J. Doctor. Even his assistant. 💔 Matthew hated Vit K. It was hell for him. And they made him addicted to it. I am so sad. 😔 Heartbroken. 💔

Charge them with the illegal service they are supplying but past that....dude made a choice. A choice millions of people who are still alive DONT make every day. Mattie sucked the life out of Mattie. The craziest part to me is that people will be upset to 'discover' such concerning information- yet completely miss the mass scale of these practices happening daily right under their noses - perhaps even to themselves. We have this ridiculously blind trust for anyone in a lab coat or who is considered an 'expert' or 'specialist' in their field. But greed runs deep in the wealthiest circles. They don't get rich without the abilty to dismiss people and focus on the profit. So, if they can convince us that we 'need' tests, medications, or treatments - or are just willing to provide patients with whatever they want without question - THAT is what fills the deepest pockets. Healthcare has ceased to be an institution focused on helping people, and has just become a business. And business is good

You obviously don't understand the brain and addiction and regardless there was TWO licensed doctors who should have never sold him ANYTHING let alone Ketamine that most definitely needs to be administered IN A DOCTOR OFFICE type setting!

Doctors are greatly involved and took advantage of Perry's addiction. Basically switching one addition for another and making a lot of money. He was trying to get help but they made him worse.

It is illegal to supply elicit drugs to anyone. Therefore those people are also responsible for selling it to him... knowing he suffers from addiction which has been deemed a disease. You are accountable TOO when you do something illegal that turns into someone's death. Drug dealers KNOW death is a great possibility when they peddle this stuff to someone. They are okay with it or they wouldn't do it. The almighty dollar is more important to them than human life. You know what they say about Karma.. she always comes calling.

@@TheUnderCoverMother2020 what about when an alcoholic buys booze at the store ? It is a drug and ruins lives. People die from that as well and the state and stores make money from their addiction. If I willingly go there for that purpose, I am an adult, and it was my decision. Doctors sell drugs, they just dont take cash.

He got addicted from a medical setting? Why didn’t he get help with that addiction rather than point blank refuse his request and let him be. His history should have been enough to know he needs help. This is soo sad to know.
