You hit so many of my favourite trails here. I have to admit, I love rail trails, it has a lot to do with a complete absence of cars!!!!!

Loved your video. I'm 60 and just getting reacquainted with cycling after a 16 year hiatus. I've cycled some of the trails you described and some are new to me, but your description was helpful in either case. Now that I'm retired I hope to ride all of these trails this Sumner. Your video is a great resource for cyclists - thank you for taking the time and effort to make it 😀

Thanks Dilip! we really appreciate this comment! we are looking to throw together a few more trail videos like this for southern ontario. Is there anything specific you'd like to see? Cheers & keep on riding!

Hey guys you have some really great biking trail options. I like that the Saugeen Trail has the bike station! Your video would be soo helpful when planning a bike trip. Teletubby Andy made me laugh 😆

So it's something i've recently learned... but when something is a Rail Trail, it generally means that it's fairly flat. and it MAKES SENSE! you can't make a train climb a 45 degree hill! so yes! there's some really amazing, flat, trails here in ontario!
@Explorcation3 жыл бұрын
@@TiaandAndy that does make sense...and also makes for a great trail!

Thx for this. Thinking of doing the Saugeen rail trail also the shore to farm trail, north shore trail. Basically one giant loop from Macgregor provincial park to Port Elgin to Southampton. Would love suggestion on where to park and that’s close to trail entrance.

Love the bike rides, information and most importantly for Andy taking one for the team and looking like a and I quote "a tellatubby". Lol With ever video like this i fall more in love with Canada.

hahaha. i don't get embarrassed by much... but that definitely looked odd, even to me! Canada has a PR problem. there's a lot of stuff here but just isn't well advertised!

We really like the Niagara River trails, all paved and flat..often do the trail from Port Colborne to Fort Erie...check it out! Also like the Cambridge to Paris trail, never had the issue with bugs. Waterford to Port Dover is also very nice, mostly covered by trees

Great video, I’ve been looking for other trails. The Saugeen trail sounds nice. I did the Elora cataract from Belfountain to Bellwood and I agree it has some over grown patches but it is still a beautiful trail.

Yeah. Try the G2G trail. It’s also amazing!

Thank you so much for sharing, this video is awesome; definitely going to some of the easy ones. Can you share the location of the start point for the Cambridge to Paris, Kissing Bridge, and Elora Cataract Trail start point? Is there a parking lot available?

Hey Alvin, I think we have these on our Patreon page! so check that out (link in description) they all have parking available!!

Yes! The iron horse trail in kitchener waterloo is a great choice. There are some segments that’s between 5-10km in length.
