Choices choices. I just want to say a little something about a radio. I love with all my heart and soul. Kenwood TS-890S. When I turn it on and listen to the wonder warm clean voices it recieves. And get reports of how my voice sounds to other people. I feel like I have climed out of a cheap automobile into the most wonderful luxurious Rolls-Royce ever made. I just love this radio. It is so wonderful.

I don't think a $13,000 radio will ever be in my budget, but it's fun to dream about!

I have ALWAYS purchased Used Radios. I only ran CW so I got the FT-1000MP. Ran that for years. Wish I still had it. Then I got a free Ten Tec Omni D. Used that for a long time. Then got a new Icom 7300. It’s like the Ford Taurus of Radio 😊

Still running an Omni D from when I upgraded from Novice. Have a Scout. Had an Argonaut. Now I have a TS 480 and a few ubitx qrp rigs and DSW 40 kit. The 480 is the only commercial one bought new in 42 years.

Greetings again. My situation is not unique, but has grown enough to no longer be overlooked. Vanlifers and full time traveling RV life. So what would be the best mobiles radios. The consideration needs to be power ( 12 to 13.8 volts X-amps), size and number of potential radios, and antenna recommendations ( as a van, truck, or car has limited mounting space). So hit us with the recommendations in a video. Just a suggestion ;)

I am happy with my ft818, Xeigu G90 and 7300 line up connected to a modified Sailor marine amplifier which gives me 300 watts on all bands.
