This was very very eye opening. I bet many users didn’t realise how essential and deep this plugin is. Best cubase hang out on KZbin. And don’t think we haven’t noticed the upgrade in editing and all round video quality. Steinberg are lucky to have you bruv. They’d better be paying you some moola.

Cubase owe you dollars. I upgraded from elements to 11 pro because of you. I still barely scratch the surface and you work quickly. One thing I would ask, is there a space echo equivalent. I have replika xt but don't want to buy one if there's one already that is undiscovered. Ideally want to emulate the bionic woman sounds.

Im thinking about upgrade from 9.5 to 11 but I wonder how about system performance. On my i7 in my laptop i do have some performance issues so prabably i would have even more after the migration? Anybody here any experience?
@simonslee734 жыл бұрын
You may actually get improved performance as 10 introduced a lot of improvements with ASIO guard and VST3 management. Just remember you are moving to 100% 64bit plugins so make sure all your essential plugins support this
@davidstojakovich24634 жыл бұрын
I imagine you will have performance issues. I use an i9700H 3.0GHz that overclocks to 4.7 with 32 Gb ram + 32 Gb of OLE ram to a 1TB SSD and if you have a lot of plugins running on 30 or so tracks with a couple instances of Squasher that brings the machine to its knees.

Is it possible to create cinematic ensembles in Cubase. I want to play say 4 samples from 4 different libraries at the same time on one key of the keyboard. Yes, I know you can highlight 4 or 5 tracks and do it like that, but I want to be able to create multiple ensembles with multiple libraries and have them in a template so I don't have to highlight tracks to do this. Is this possible and could you do a video to explain how this can be done?
@RicardoCassal3 жыл бұрын
Cool!!!!
@irony92344 жыл бұрын
They need to make it so instead of the default EQ you can make squasher for example the default for workflow. I feel like Abletons or FL studios workflow setup is much nicer. Although cubase has some really nice features (Also: is there a way to incorporate more colors to the track color scheme?)

not bad but today competitors have linear phase mode! And that is important as you understand 😉
@DomSigalasАй бұрын
Which plugins do you refer to as competition Tim? :)
@timbeneton8068Ай бұрын
@@DomSigalas OxyOTT or Sixth Sample Cramit PE amonth others
@DomSigalasАй бұрын
@@timbeneton8068I see, I thought you meant stock plugins in this case- these are both paid plugins :) By the watch out for this linear phase in your low end. I would double check it doesn’t introduce pre-ringing. It can cause more harm than good- linear phase isn’t panacea 🤘🏼
@timbeneton8068Ай бұрын
@ for low end it can be switch off, or can be used mix mode ( both minimal and linear phase at the same time : aka Kirchoff EQ) I just mean that Steinberg using resources not in the right direction with thise plugins. There are tons of free top quality plugins right now. Workflow and DAW features is the way to go in my opinion 🙂
@DomSigalasАй бұрын
@ I see where you’re coming from - these truth is - they are still stock plugins- Cubase is a humongous program that has so many aspects to be updated. I bet 99% of the users won’t even know the difference and Squasher sounds awesome anyway. I’ve never missed linear phase to be honest. If they can give us modulators and shimmer I’d rather see them spend their resources there. But yes it would be nice if there were infinite resources 👍
