Why do almost all pak tv dramas surely have a perverted male character, who is perverted to the extent of raping ? I don't watch pak dramas, but recently I have stumbled upon a few, and since the language isn't a bar, I've tried to watch a few. But every single time I became fed up after witnessing a rapist character in almost every show which I've stumbled upon. Okay granted that even in my country, our tv serials have these characters, since these people exist in ALL countries for real. But in pak dramas these rapist characters and women-humiliating 'chauvinists' are seen even more than the female characters have dialogues, perhaps. The female characters are shown to be so helpless all the time. The women are treated like shoes or doormats. The male characters ( regardless of being a hero or villain) are so toxic. No male characters can be called protagonists, there are some called heroes only because they are in main/leading roles. In my country we get to see some chsracters like these on our tv shows too, but at the end there is ALWAYS a moral that teaches us to correct our wrongs. But in Pak dramas I don't get to watch any such moral which teaches the men to correct themselves and treat women as their equals in ALMOST every show which I have watched so far, Nothing here is meant to insult anyone's or its country's emotion, I've just stated the true facts which I have witnessed.
