One of the biggest tips i was given was being able to switch lenses quickly and safely when on the go. It's important to know how to change lenses so that you're not wasting time trying to do that when you could be taking a picture. It seems kinda insignificant but trust me it makes a difference

Every minute wasted on "guidance" is another shot missed. It works like any other cam. First learn about: iso, apeture, speed. This will help you use manual mode. Second how to use Tv and Av, once you understand manual, this will be a cake walk. Last, use the booklet that came with your cam.

ND or neutral density, is somewhat of a confusing term for "does not affect colour" (has a neutral colour density). What this basically means is that it lowers the light without changing the colour. However, with time the meaning shifted to "sunglasses for your camera", and some may affect colour in some cases. For example, the one you showed probably works using two polarizing filters, which can sometimes affect colours (reflected light often gets polarized differently, depending on the wavelength). This means that yours adds the convenience of not having to buy six different ND filters of different strength, but you technically loose the ND part.
