Yeah, those screw-outs work really well, as long as the head isn't broken off. I have the smallest one and the second-smallest in my drill bag generally. They've saved my bacon on projects a couple times! The "multicut" has been around for a while, first one I remember seeing on the market was under the Craftsman badge. Being able to replace the cutting edges is a great aspect of the tool. To cut those heavier branches better, bend it a bit while you cut, so that the cut is flexing open and clearing the wider section of the blade holder.
