Thanks for this video. I appreciate it. Does anyone know which is the best or most reliable software to convert a Video_TS folder (with all it's vob files) to a MP4 file. Many Video_TS folders have several vob files inside. Some of the converters will convert vob files not Video_TS folders with several internal vob files. Thanks!!

DVD Shrink. That was the go-to back in the mid 90's. Coupled with Slysoft (at the time) AnyDVD, you could decrypt anything. There's better compression tools now though. Rip with makemkv, then compress to x265 10bit mkv with opus audio. If you're still into physical media ie bd25, use bd rebuilder.

I've noticed that when you rip a dvd movie from a drive connecting to sata is a lot faster than a drive connecting to USB. Ripping a movie depends both on CPU and GPU

Make MKV is not in BETA anymore, the free key expired 1/1/2024!!!!. Handbrake is a compression software, it will not rip a dvd that is DRM protected, the same applies to VLC.

True. Most free converters don't give you more than five minutes "free". Personally, I don't care but what I really need is that they can convert a Video_TS FOLDER (with all the vob files inside the folder) to one MP4 file.
