It gets kind of annoying and it doesn't even sound that good however it comes with a silencer that makes it bearable and it actually sounds better with it on because it removes most of the drone.

rattles arent normal and sounds like the catback was installed incorrectly

So it rattles because of the heat shield and a bolt that is close to the exhaust you can remove the bits that are touching

you might if you put a new air intake in, but generally no. Tunes are only required when a variable in the ECU is being affected by a change in things like AFR.

Thanks for the information! I was doing some research and the Yonaka Motorsports catback exhaust also sounds really good. It’s not on the list but it seems like a good affordable option that sounds pretty good.

@@colecricks4243 yes Yonaka is go to for sure has a nice deeper tone and isn’t to raspy. It all depends on why YOU like bro don’t let anyone tell you what ur car should sound like but if you the deeper sounding I would do skunk2

@@lowlif3t I do think that the skunk 2 sounds more aggressive which I do like, but the Yonaka also sounds good and it’s more affordable compared to the skunk 2. I think I’ll go with the Yonaka for those reasons and I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. I can always sell the Yonaka and buy the skunk 2 later if I really want it.

Honda's are hard to make sound aggressive because of the engine. Subaru WRX & BRZ have boxer engines, that is why they have that mean aggressive rumble to them.

The invidia n1 76mm is probably the best sounding exhaust for this civic. It sounds soo deep which I think is what makes it not sound like a cheap fart can sounding civic. When banging through gears and hearing it from outside it sounds like a monster with a deep voice screaming in the woods lol. When shifting gears you can hear like a low, deep sound between those shifts (I’m not sure what it is) and man that sounds soo cool

@@lifeofbk1920 Sort of. The muffler has issues reaching the rubber mounts and so I ended up leaving it hanging. It does hang lower than my chassis so it is either I put it wrong or they manufactured it that way. Either way, it does scrape for me.
