Hola I hope you reply as soon as possible. I am thinking about moving by spring 2023 in L. A. Would like to know if a salary of 40 k/ year can be enough To afford the downtown? As a guy from a little town from an island i idealized huge skycrapers. I d like to experience the mood of Manhattan in L. A

Hey! There are definitely a few areas in downtown that you'll be able to rent a studio with a 40k a year salary

East Hollywood, north Hollywood, West Hollywood, Hollywood hills, West Hollywood hills, little Hollywood..too many hollywoods!!!!😂❤ Hi, I love your videos and I love LA. I love the information and insight you give. I have a few questions, can you do a video or answer my question here as to what your clients who live in the bird view do for a living to afford a 15-30M dollar home? Like more specific than just CEO etc Also I have heard a lot of LA luxury real estate is bought up by corporations and organizations to avoid taxes and flip it and sell it to other corporations to make profits. I have seen mansions for sell on Zillow for years that finally sell and then 9 months later it’s back on the market again…why is this?

Hi Dennis I appreciate you watching the videos! Most of them are entrepreneurs that have either started their own companies and have had money for decades. There are many international business owners as well in the hills. These days you'll find younger people in their 30's in tech businesses or crypto last year. When the market was going up and up, there were lots of people buying and selling after a few months just to make a quick flip and some quick cash.

@@darrenkrizlosangeles hey! Thank you so much for the reply and sorry for the late response. What in tech business? Do you mean app development? Yeah, I have studied much on this and most are entrepreneurs that never went near a school

For anyone looking to move to LA, I would suggest completely avoiding the central basin (anything central LA below the hills). It is completely crime ridden and unsafe. I've lived in LA for 9 years, I love this city so much and it is has been heartbreaking to watch it fall apart - but I am staying. The Valley (Sherman Oaks, Encino, Thousand Oaks, Valley Village, Burbank, Toluca Lake) is quite a bit safer in general. The safest neighborhoods are Glendale and Pasadena, hands down.

Anything west of Pasadena is unsafe, all the way till Beverly Hills.
