Hello Liam great video, I'm starting with tongue blocking, Thanks!

I started to learn the harmonica way back in the late ‘60s. I taught myself the tongue blocking method with a Hohner wood comb diatonic harp. The wood block constantly stole and ripped my lips open. I was so glad when plastic combs arrived. Although I play mainly folk music, I would love to properly learn how to play blues style and will use your videos to help. Many thanks.

Yeah, Marine Bands swell and crack on me. The premium wooden comb harps are a bit better but I generally stick to plastic. Thanks for following my lessons and good luck!

Gr8 stuff! Question: Can the tongue be trained to move faster than it wants to?
@Learntheharmonica3 жыл бұрын
I've definitely sped up my flutters and sweeps, it's just a muscle that needs training 😃
