Nice video, good info and suggestions! I've found another that's pretty significant IMO..Mojave lower rear arms at all four corners(lower arms) of the kaiju! They go on pretty easily and add some serious rigidity to the kaiju. You won't have to worry about breaking upper arms anymore😎

I've already done all things mentioned in the video (besides the shock mod) out of necessity as I went. I will add mine ran a little hotter than I liked stock so when I installed the steel spur I regeared the pinion -1 or -2 (I can't remember) and added a fan to the motor. Also Get rid of those dean's connectors! (Pushing the limits on dean's and the disconnect all the time landing jumps)... I swapped to xt90. Been pretty dang bullet proof since.

Like the fact you’ve “officialised” the tuning following recent feedback. Could make for a nice series/ playlist in the future.

I've actually snapped my front right driveshaft before I even went through 1 battery pack, did a few backflips and when I landed it snapped. Is there any way to get stronger drive shafts or make them stronger? Or is it just bad luck and it shouldn't happen again anytime soon.

The only problem I have out of kaiju is the damn suspension arms front and rear upper suspension arms keep breaking
@akent462 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't running lighter weight in the rear achieve the same result for the shocks?

Light oil & small/few holes will act the same at slow speeds as thick oil & large holes, but will pack more at fast impacts because the oil can’t flow as fast. Kind of like slapping an open hand on water will smack hard compared to slowly pressing down with your hand.

I put the bearings on the outdrives and the front shafts keep pushing the bearings right off any clue why ? Seems like my front shafts are shorter idk
