Never done a ghost tour, but dang, wish I have! Well, here’s another item to add to my Richmond bucket list! Thanks for trail-blazing that experience for me! On a side note, caught myself smiling/chuckling a few times during this video - you two are funny! Your little jokes are fun! Dang! Only 15 months in Richmond and you’ve already been highlighted on the news! Already a local celebrity! Congrats!

Hollywood Cemetery is a Must! We thought our daughter was crazy wanted to spend her 30th birthday there… we were blown away! It’s the most stunning places, kind of like a botanical garden. Views, beautiful architecture and great vibes!

Love Church Hill. The Roosevelt and Chef Leah are one of my faves. Along with Grisette and Alewife. Richmond is one of the best cities for history buffs. Up there with D.C. and NY!

Loved the video !!! My parents got married on Church Hill at the pastor's house in 1934. My husband and I took pictures on Church Hill while we were dating. His mother lived on Church Hill when she was dating her husband and they took some nice pictures. I love the view of the river from there. When my brother was dating his wife in the '60's he took her to the south end of the Lee Bridge for a nice view of the river from the stone overlook. She was NOT impressed! In fact, she was terrified as it was rush hour traffic. She was from the Shenandoah Valley and this was not her idea of good scenery! LOL She was only in Richmond for a summer job with some friends, and that was in Bon Air. I liked that stone wall overlook because it reminded me of my roommates' bride magazines I had seen in college where the bride poses in front of rustic stone walls and buildings and those pictures were beautiful. There is a long stone wall nearby on Riverside Drive that would make a great place for a photo shoot. .

Hi Lauren and Lucas , It's vlogtober day 10 . Harriet and I have toured Church Hill. Shades of Salem , Ma. where they love this time of year. And Yes, we have taken the ghost tour. Harriet too, is a history buff. In fact , last year she got certified to be a guide to do Richmond Tours downtown. We saw you on TV this morning on la local news show. You really get around.
