On top of everything you mentioned about bloodhounds fang, even though it’s already pretty much THE strongest curved GS you can also still buff it with weapon grease or enchant spells. It’s dummy thicc.

If you use (any) grease it works with the bleed.​ It's a great weapon and I defeated that damn fast asassin with it that belongs in bloodbourne imho. I died more to that assasin in Liurnia where we need to get the blueprint off for Fia, to give it to rogier, get it back, and so we get to start Ranni's quest. Anyway I dies more to that f*cker than to any other boss in the 4 opening regions. Limgrave, Liurna, Weeping Peninsula, Caelid and the 2 underground bosses. That f*cker was really fast and then I just took bloodhound fang and swang it and he was death really fast. I have better weapons now but back then it was the best I got. @@tuberculosis3548

got bloodhounds fang really early to the point i could barely use it 2 handed, to beating the game using it stanced with morgotts blade. Literally carried me through the game

I gave morgotts sword a try power stanced with BHF too. It was good, but preferred to off hand a staff to have some ranged attacks. But yeah, BHF literally carried me through the whole game too. I wanted to use something else since I had it from the jump, but it was too good.

Agreed. It ain't sexy, but it's got some good reach and does solid damage. The combos\continuation attacks are good too especially if your timing is impeccable. Great weapon for farming those little dudes in the far eastern part of the map 👍

Above to the Dex scaling and blood lost build-up in the Bloodhound's Fang Curved Greatsword, it also has a boost on jumping attacks (10%) that stacks with Claw Talisman and the Raptor's Chest piece.

I completely agree, and I think anyone running an Arcane build with daggers should abuse Reduvia for its insane bleeds. I just tried to factor the scope of all players, and given its tight melee range and stat distribution, I pushed it towards an honorable mention 🤷

Don't get me wrong, Reduvia is a fine dagger, and if thats the playstyle you enjoy than go at it! Daggers can apply status effects so fast, and they're certainly fun, but for the average player, especially on their first run, I just found other options more viable.
