When I first started to buy luxury makeup a year ago, I picked up some of these fails because they were recommended by another popular YTer, before I found Sofia. Learned a painful lesson. I will always check Sofia's reviews before I buy a product now....they are too expensive to take a chance on. I have one exception: the Backstage concealer works perfectly on me; although I'm 65, I've had oily skin, and only a few fine lines. Thanks as always Sofia!

Agree with you on all! Except the foundation stick. The finish looks absolutely beautiful on me but within the hour, it starts to emphasise my pores and gives me weird clumpy texture. Same goes for the cushion. I was super disappointed because the forever matte liquid foundie is my fave and my og.

I love Dior makeup, they’ve just been killing it this year. Just some info: Clarins was doing lip oils about 7 years before Dior did, they’re exactly the same and a lot less expensive. I’m 61 and I like the backstage concealer. The trick is to use a tiny amount, just one dot for the entire under eye. It’s full coverage so a tiny bit goes a long way and not drying at all. Loved this video, please do another on Chanel, Hermes or any luxury brand actually 😂

Dior has completely bowled me over this year! I am completely in love with the Dior stick foundation and adore skin glow as a primer underneath 😍 I also discovered the highlighter and got the number 2 & 3 shades. The number 2 is most gorgeous pink shade and the number 3 is glitter city but great to tap on the eyes and dab on top of the pink highlighter shade❤

I started to get into more high-end brands this year, and Dior was where I decided to spend my coin. I'd add one product per Sephora sale. The Lip Tint was such a let down, it had me reconsidering everything! I do really love the Addict shine lipsticks, and surprisingly, the Lip Glow Balm. My real favourite is the Dior Skin Glow foundation. From the day I bought it, my other foundations have been sitting in a drawer, neglected!

I don't buy Dior anymore since the eyeshadow quint and singles reformulation. I have about 10 quints from before that time that I guard carefully and two singles. I also have a number of Rouge blushes from Dior some of which are beautiful! Like I said, Dior put themselves in a more or less permanent time out with me and I've not let them back in the game.

Great video Sofia! Dior is one of my favorite brands. Foundation and concealer are my staples,, but I bought one of the blush/highlight duos this year. Expensive and it was hard panned. I still have the “original” Dior glow blush , even before the one you showed that came out, in the full size see- through packaging with brush and mirror. I think that was out before the backstage makeup was a thing and they reduced the packaging down to what you showed. Great formula and still lasting .

I really enjoy the gamut of products you cover. You do a great, well informed presentation of them. I am 58 and love the Forever Glow Star Filter in 1 and Skin Perfect stick. Sofia is quite the comedian and I’m here for it. I love Dior beige mitzah single eyeshadow, old blush formula (I have one shade), lip maximizer, highlighter, and their bronzer. I have the lip oil, I only use to when my lips are so chapped and it’s the only thing that heals my lips in no time, especially if I have an occasion. I have never used any complexion products because they have fragrance in them. Hopefully one day, they become fragrance free and I will run out and buy the forever concealer and stick foundation. Until then, I am gonna enjoy my haus labs and hourglass foundations. After watching your reviews, never got rosy blush or eyeshadow quints. I’m staying far away from them.

The best products at Dior Beauty are the nail varnishes. The top coat is the best I've ever tried, and the polishes are a really superb formula and long wearing. I have tried almost every Dior product, some other standouts are the Capture Totale line, the Addict lipsticks, and their exclusives line of fragrance. ❤

Hi Sofia, When I started do wear makeup most of the products I used were from Dior (just from main line because I never liked the Backstage line) plus a few from Guerlain and Chanel. These days from Dior I just have 2 eyeshadow quints (one old formula and one a limited edition from last year) and one Dior Forever concealer (I use it as a spot concealer or in some days when I am in a rush as a foundation). Regarding the stick foundation I had a different experience. On my face it looks very makeupy and emphasise pores (very often I get compliments about my skin and I know I have very small pores and a balanced, aka “normal” skin). Its weird because I noticed that many people love this foundation. I assume that the other makeup products from Dior are in “between” category and that’s why you didn’t mention them. Thanks for all these reviews Sofia! I too love Dior makeup in general. I wish they would launch some cream blushes and more cream or liquid products in general as I have dry skin. I also wish they would expand their foundation stick colors. I have light olive skin and 2wo is perfect. I use the concealer as a spot concealer or where I’m red. No foundation usually but I love a good cream product. As for the lip oil, I love them, but mostly because I love the mahogany color. The rest of the colors are fine but you’re right, not groundbreaking.

Omgosh! After reading the other comments I had to leave another mine was so generic!! Ok here goes.. As a collector I will get both lavender choices liquid and powder the pinky quad and a few of the lip plumpers. I love Dior but the blushes are not my favourite. If you don’t already when you buy Dior order from the website their gifts are amazing. They treat their customers well. Because of you I have branched off to other makeup I never would have tried like VB and RMS!! You’re the best !❤️

I love DIOR products. Probably my favorite products of theirs are their foundations. I like the one in the bottle and the stick. I enjoy their bronzer/contour stick too. And their old concealer (which you also showed). I love their primers too and the glowy one you mentioned, but I don’t use it a lot. With combo skin, I don’t need extra glow.

It’s nice to see so many people in love with the Dior foundation sticks but it’s so interesting that NO ONE has mentioned the abysmal shade range. The 2016 “inclusive” energy has left the building. I’m a medium cool shade gal and none of these shades will remotely work for me. The shades are super orange and yellow and they only come in neutral undertone once you get past fair, and the undertones are super strong. Only people in the 2-4 shade range seem to like these because these are the only people this line caters to. Frustrating to see a product so hyped when we’re going backwards in the inclusivity department.

Lol! I've been wearing the Dior Rosy Glow Pink as a blush topper all week. I like it. I'm not sure which formulation I have. I also have the Lilac blush which I think must be the new formulation. I never have bought any of the lip oils. The Dior Addict Shine Lipsticks are one of my favorite formulas of all of my lipsticks. I do really like Dior foundation products and some of the skin care. I've worked my way through a bottle of the Skin Glow and will reorder Also picked up my first Star Filter and I love it! I worked my way through a Backstage concealer. I didn't repurchase. I'm going to try the Forever Skin Correct soon. I have pretty much quit buying their eyeshadows because of the 6 mos expiry. Plus I picked up my first Mothership Palettes during the Black Friday sale so that will keep me busy for awhile. 😆I hope you have a very Merry Christmas Sofia!

Shimmer hazelnut is the goat. I really like my luminiferous in golden glow and I’ve been waiting for a cool toned highlighter release to get a second one, unless it turns out to be glittery, the lavender one that should come out soon will be mine. My least favorite product from Dior are the mascara.

I’ve got one of those lip tints and also hate it…when I apply it, it looks good but after 30 min/ an hour you have to apply again because it looks patchy. I didn’t throw away it yet because of the price… On the other hand: I love the Dior glow maximizers. Got three shades and love them all

Thank you for makig this vid. Soo needed. I am a Dior lover, so I have and agree with you, foundation stick is amazing for drier skins and it is top product of the brand. I got backstage concealer, I watched Dior's vid on how they use it (sparingly) and that's how I use it. If you have watery eyes, it is a useful product but don't apply it like a regular concealer. I should say I have mature skin, and it works for me if used as shown by Dior. The eyeshadows; d-floral is terrible and dry. 3 out of 5 shadows hardpan within 2 uses, punk blush has to be taped and scraped after every other use, why😢

Dior reformulated a huge amount of their products. More notably the foundation that was made from one great one into a glowy one and a matte one. Now they aren't as good. The Stick foundation is amazing though, phew! The lipstick Lesbians said that the lip oil is the only one out there that actually improves your lips with 5 days usage due to specific ingredients. I do love the glow star filter. It is lovely on my skin compared to the awful Charlotte Tilbury skin Tint. I absolutely love the concealer to. I just bought the reformulared one with trepidation and i never needed to worry; i actually think its even better than the original. I actually love the Dior lip oils bc I love the doe foot, the formula, and the low pigment. Sometimes all I want is a hint of a shade and these are easy to apply without a mirror and are very nourishing on me. Unpopular opinion- other than the bronzers I just don’t like rms. I feel the brand is being advertised so heavily and I’m almost always disappointed and throwing away the products. Oh I do like the OG luminizer and have been using them forever, when Sofia was but a wee lass 😂

It's possible you feel that way about the advertising based on the people that you follow. I don't see many creators talking about RMS and none of my friends know about the brand. Keep in mind that it's much better as a creator to create content on just a few brands that you like, as opposed to spreading thin across many categories and price points

@ it’s mostly on tik tok that I see it to be honest. Lots of people trying to sell there and for whatever reason the algorithm loves to show me the brand. Definitely not commenting on or judging creators, as I really only follow about 5 people in the beauty space (including you and allfiesty).

I have three of Dior glow blushes one the old version the pink one and two reformulated (rosewood and cherry) and they work well for me I have them over a year and they are fine. I can definately build them up so I wonder if it depends on pH of skin or moisture level ,I have oily skin and they show and stay on my skin whole day. But for example Haus Labs blushes without talc fades a lot they are almost gone at the end of the day which is a bummer because they blend like a dream and they have beautiful shades. Dior requires more blending but they stay. I guess it's really the case not everything works for everybody.
