Agree with you on the research bit. If they want to give it utility, have a "research workshop" where you can get land upgrades. Keep it on land so it's thematically consistent, and don't have it compete with glint.

Looking mighty grim, aftersound. Might call it quits at this point. My advise. 1. Stop land for now. 2. Focus on fast revenue items. Skins, packs, battlepass, mini packs. I mean they could literally just copy any successful card game companies on how they make money. 3. Make owning cards and sps mandatory playing the game. The cp requirement proposal is a start. Makes the cards more valuable. People love valuable things. Less players more earnings. More earnings, more interest. New opportunists will come in. Plus side is it is less bottable. 4. Controversial take but in line with above point. Maybe renting sps should not be allowed. People can grind for it by playing the game or straightout buy the sps. Also, this will kill most bot farms. right now, i am just done tbh. There are better opportunities out there than praying for this mess to be a success

Very nice! Agree with almost everything you listed. The only thing I disagree is on itens 3 and 4 about the necessity to own stuff. Rental market is a great attractive to the game and a good advertise/marketing for people testing or starting the game. This way they can test out stuff before deciding what to buy. My argument is that if they create a CP requirement applied to old editions only (Alpha. Beta, Untamed and excluding rewards) that would create value for old assets and kill bot farms. Rental players would pay more DEC for the A.B.U. cards due to the natural scarcity of those and the benefits would be the same as you described, without driving out people that are still "testing" the game, renting stuff. Also, rental market gives utility to cards and SPS, witch is a good thing overall, and have all the assets to play competitively is monatery impossible... so a full rental market is the strongest feature of the game.

Yeah but with little to no new players, the team can't squeeze the same people for more $ over and over again. Team has no resources and are just prolonging this trainwreck as long as possible in hopes of new VC investments and better market conditions.

It's indeed good to remember that if the price of SPS doesn't start increasing then how long until the team members will start moving on to other projects.

This just keeps getting from bad to worse..team member ran a bot farm and is still employed because he didn't break any rules, according to Matt? How is running a bot farm, playing the game the way it's supposed to be played? This is similar to Lux Vega's sale where another employee, Wolf, botted and resold extra copies at much higher prices, to other players who couldn't get one. Full extraction at the community's expense. If the bot farm employee didn't do anything wrong, why return some of the rewards? It's obvious some team members have no issues exploiting the system and I can't wait for Sylar to hammer another nail in the coffin.

Sell skins for old cards and classify them as modern so you can play them in modern. They would probably sell more skins than rebellion packs.

SO MY CHANCES OF GETTING 1 BETA PACK IS 1 IN 1000 AND THE COST IS 10X AT LEAST!!!! brother... now he wants to tax wild league!!! Team member leeching from the game not a big deal? Crazy. After the community has been trying to stop the bots ruining the game for a while now. With many crypto projects it’s nearly always the team that make all the money. It’s a good game but anyone looking to invest into game assets might as well light their money on fire. Opportunity no longer there. I and probably many more are waiting for the right time to dump and be done

I had hope that land was going to be a great addition to Splinterlands but it seems like they might not have the talent nor the ability to compete with big name brands like farmsville, clash of clash, clash royale. Matt made it clear that Land is not priority which is his biggest mistake. RANK BATTLES keep changing and they keep making it less attractive...SPS is below all time Support and will not be able to maintain its value if there are no buyers/daytraders... Reality is why would someone want to buy in now and Lock in their capital .....ONLY way is if your product has personality and has some sort of connection with the collector/gamers which could create friendly competition or debate EXAMPLE: MARVEL V.S. DC characters who's the best villain? who would win? what's their backstory? Personality? FYI: Joker is one of my favorite characters iam trying to find a connection here but it seems BOTZ are their best asset

A TEAM MEMBER SUCKING IN THE GAME? OMG!!! That should be punished but instead defended that there was nothing wrong? That's inside job my friend. Worst is that they return most of the rewards BECAUSE THEY WERE CAUGHT, imagine if they were not caught up until now? Will the ever stop? Instead that those team members suggest or think of solution, they made actions to take advantage of it and nothing wrong about it?
