Hi everyone! I’m Ryan, an Associate Producer from the New York Hall of Science. This month is Black History Month and to celebrate it, here are 5 African American scientists who have contributed greatly to our society.
Number 5. George Washington Carver. Carver was born to a slave in Missouri towards the end of the Civil War but managed to attend University and became a prominent figure in agricultural science. He discovered the use of crop rotation and other farming techniques that farmers use to maximize the amount of crops they cultivated.
Number 4. Mae C. Jemison. Jemison was the first African American female astronaut. In fact, in 1992, she became the first African American woman in space on her trip aboard the Endeavour.
She spent 190 hours in space, conducting experiments on weightlessness and motion sickness, and in 1990 was named Gamma Sigma Gamma Woman of the Year. Jemison paved the path for young women of color to reach their goals.
Number 3, Neil deGrasse Tyson. Tyson can best be considered a science communicator, hosting shows on PBS and StarTalk Radio and he served as advisor on the aerospace industry to President George W. Bush.
Number 2, Mary Winston Jackson. Jackson’s impeccable science and math skills earned her a seat in NASA, where she helped women and minorities in the field obtain promotions and higher level positions. Her professional life was even covered in the film Hidden Figures.
And finally number 1, Otis Boykin. Boykin invented some products of his own after he began his job at Majestic Radio and TV Corporation. Inventions such as a wire precision resistor for radios and TV’s and a control unit used in the pacemaker can be credited to Boykin.
And these are just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many more African Americans who have made great contributions to the sciences and to every other aspect of our society.

In America book publishers are not black. The black book shops i went to are not owned by black individuals or black families. The real estate monopoly wouldn't allow this to happen. As it's a real estate monopoly it lets the black folks sign a Lease. Thus, the book store is in business by having rent payments send to the real estate company that had the black person sign the Lease. They don't own the book store. Owning a book store within a real estate monopoly isn't possible for black folks as a monopoly operation sets forth a race factor. If we look behind the television, we see it camouflaged this issue. TV gives us with its extension social media a reality which is not honest, we see that this real estate business is never identified. As mom & pops don't understand a monopoly they won't understand the books that a black bookstore offers to it's black customers. Only one ethnic group owns real estate in black hoods. The aliens sell only to their folks real estate, secondary they might decide to sell it to another race. A monopoly has to sell to it's people first. The books in these black bookstores as the books available via amazon, are published also by a monopoly publishing house network (these are the same devils as in real estate). Publishing: Meaning censorship (editorial) is applied. Its quite interesting that the average black family and single moms don't know these important facts. The source of text books in school is the same that requires the black books to be distributed to the respective black book stores (all are edited=censored). If we move from books to television we have another monopoly at hand. Radio, social media is in the same hands. With this control the nose people educate us. Their own schools are free of this manipulation. Only one group is able to educate by law all other ethnic groups. The Jays finance this gigantic mass media network with billions of dollars. Hence, they are the producers of all Hollywood films, radio shows, television programming, Netflix and the entire social media network. Thus no one can find out what's going on. Visual media and books are compromised. The black individual should just look behind the books he buys for his child. Who is the publisher. Who edits the book. Who writes the book. Who ghost wrote the book. What is ghost writing. Who finances the book publishing (advertisement). And at the end: why is a monopoly allowed to develope to the extent of being against the law, and within this frame of law no one prosecutes these men & woman that operate these crime entities. To understand this, a black mom might google up the book: Despatches from the Wellesly Battlefront by Toni Martin. One clicks on the amazon offer to read the description of the book. Thereof the reviews that mostly black people wrote show in this particular case the massive manipulation we're subjected to. The reviews are pure enlightenment.

Shouldn't the title be "5 blacks who studied science"... I watched the video only to conclude that neither of the 5 made an actual scientific contribution 🙄 My bad... that is the title 😂
