I too was in the hospital for 7 months in 2020 and 4 months in 2021. Most of that time I could have no visitors due to Covid. Listening to the Bible readings comforted me. I am forever grateful.

We have the entire Bible on tape with his reading from years ago when my husband traveled for work, and he carried this with him to listen to in the car! Thanks for this, after my surgery for a terrible work injury I started to really study the bible. Being incapacitated finally forced me to get serious. 6 months of forced inactivity was the first incentive that worked. Love the clear diction and the emoting of passages even when it makes me wince.

I really like this version . Plain and simple. Not music on the background or images. One thing I would suggest that you can discard it if you think I am wrong. There is no need to advertise for people to subscribe. That small icon is a little distracting. Trust me. People will suscribe regardless even if this icon isn’t there. Again just a suggestion. God was so FAITHFUL to the CHILDREN of ISREAL who were a stiff neck, REBELLIOUS, DISOBEDIENT PEOPLE. God can’t work with this; only OBEDIENCE/SUBMISSION to God’s will. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885. It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible. The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was: “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH: John 17:17.
