Sasha I love you! This video is amazing! So inspiring! I really can’t say which books have changed my life but certainly The Hunger Games for introducing me into the Fandom / Book world, The Shatter Me Series for inspiring me to write my first own novel, some Colleen Hoover books such as Maybe Someday, Ugly Love and especially November 9! These books taught me a lot about being strong, never giving up & self love. I’d also say Throne of Glass because it introduced me into the world of fantasy!

Hey Sasha! I almost cried at the end of this video. I want you to know that you are my inspiration. You show me that even if life is hard, you have to fight back and never give up on living! I love you so much as a person and I really can't wait to read Zenith! The first novel I have ever read was The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L.Frank Baum that I want to re-read. Another one was Karazan by V.M. Jones (a middle-grade quatrology) that I've read for three times already. The Host by Stephanie Meyer it's such a complex book that teaches you how to be a real human being and I love it sooo much. I've read it two times and I want to re-read it again. These are some books that helped me through my growing. You are doing a great job with booktube and you make me want to be better each and every day!

Okay, I've narrowed it down. Here they are in a slightly particular order: 1) Jane, Unlimited by Kristin Cashore. Honestly, I think this one came just a bit later than I needed it, but it still had such an emotional impact on me I'm glad it came after the craziness died down. 2) The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien for just inspiring me in everything. 3) Warriors by Erin Hunter for giving me a love of reading (and shout out to Animal Arc novels too). 4) Graceling by Kristin Cashore because it expanded my reading horizons and finally 5) Obernewtyn by Isobelle Carmody for just a mix of all my reasons above. It was also why I wanted to start a KZbin channel and being on BookTube has had such a positive influence on my life since I started.

Every book I read changes me in some way. I suck at picking lol. I just wanted to let you know, that you are, 1) So so so beautiful on the outside, your style is really pretty, the way you do your makeup is perfect.❤️ 2)I love how you are able to put yourself out here on the internet and talk about something you love, i’ve always wanted a booktube, but never had the courage, so i have an enormous amount of respect for people who aren’t afraid of doing this. 3) Your personality and the way you talk is really really really cute. I kinda feel like having conversations with ppl like you. 4)You have inspired me A LOT, don’t take that lightly, you have had such an influence on my life and who i am. You encourage me to be more myself, and have an opinion on things. You are why i have gathered a tiny bit of courage to start a blog. I love you so much. I am from all the way across the world. Literally. Like if you drilled a hole on earth from your house, you’d probably reach my house lol. I’m in Qatar. I love you more than you know.Take care of yourself💕

The Hunger Games By Suzanne Collins Before I read the Hunger Games, I just wanted to give up on reading. I couldn’t find any good books to read and was getting frustrated. Once I read it, I realized I just wasn’t reading the right genre and now I’ve read so many more books and my love for reading is what led me to this channel, which I am so thankful for. I love your energy when you talk about books, I really do.

The All Souls Trilogy is one of my favorites! I’m on my fourth reread of it right now. I was a history major in school and I love all of the history woven in throughout the whole series. Every time I read it, I fall into a wormhole of reading about the historical characters.

The 5 books (or book series) that have changed my life : 1) The Little Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry The best memory I have from my childhood. I actually saw a musical based on the book in Paris when I was 6. 2) Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling (aka the Queen) How could it not? I watched the films first then I picked up the books two years ago and I haven't let go ever since! The series definitely changed my way of seeing the world. 3) Warrior Cats - Erin Hunter That was the only thing I read back in middle school and I absolutely loved it! 4) Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins The series got me back into reading after a MASSIVE reading slump! 5) The Old Country - Mordicai Gerstein This one is another fond memory of mine...it is the first book I remember reading by myself. It was given to me as present by my grand parents. Anyway keep going! I love your channel (you actually got me to watch Outlander!).

I am 16 years old and I’ve only been into reading for about 3 years now. However, I definitely have some books that effected me in a way or another. First of all, is The Fifth Wave, which opened my horizons towards the reading world. That was the very first book that got me into reading and which I am very grateful for, even today. Also the main character’s story really inspired me into putting my goals out there and really trying to reach for them no matter how far away they seem to be. Then there are Sarah J Maas’s books which also played an important role in building my confidence, teaching me to held my chin high and never let the bad days guide my life path. Also, Cassandra Clare definitely made my love for books more radiant and permanent. Her books thought me lots and lots of life lessons and to master different sorts of powers that helped me through hard times. THERE ARE SOO MANY BOOKS THAT FLOURISHED THE PERSON THAT I AM TODAY, but I feel like if I keep going, I’ll never stop. 😂 Oh and because of reading so many books written in English, I can actually speak it so that is really cool. You are awesome and I am very happy for your success with Zenith. (Loved it by the way) Ok by now

A thousand words I read it when I was just 14 and this book made me realise that ' love makes family not blood' Now I know I'm going to adopt my kids when I'm ready to be a mom♥️ Percy Jackson This is what made me a reader. Thanks to Percy I fell in love with reading. This song will save your life This book made me understand my best friend a lot better. Cress Cress herself taught me a lot. I'm a lot like her physically and emotionally. But the way she behaves is so different from me. She taught me that it's okay to say what you feel out loud and never be ashamed of that. And also just be courageous!!

Divergent by Veronica Roth- was the first book series that got me obsessed with reading!! I fell in love with the world of divergent and I don’t think I would of started reading without it. Shatter me by Tahereh Mafi - is my favorite series ever, it has so much character development and I absolutely ate UP the romance in it. It has humor and action and the writing style is gorgeous ( kinda has a poetic style) THANK YOU TAHEREH MAFI Caraval- The caraval series is a new trilogy that I’ve fallen in love with, I finished Legendary a few days ago and cannot wait for the 3rd book to come out. It’s magical, colorful, and it’s just so! fun! to! read! The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh- is a novel that has not really made it big but ummm seriously it’s so captivating. The story is about a girl who’s lived in 32 foster homes and becomes a flower arranger. This movie is raw and soo beautiful and the powerful protagonist Vanessa has impacted my life in so many ways. Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand- is life changing, it’s a WW2 nonfiction story of an olympic athlete who turned his life around and endured through so many hardships. This story is astonishing and a much read- plus it’s a movie and it’s incredible, it’s changed my life and has given me such a different perspective on life.

1. Lucas by Kevin Brooks as it was the first personal book I read in high school that exposed me to injustice and prejudice. It hit me really hard and I always go back to reread it and think about it. 2. Being Mortal by Atul Gawande because it reinvigorated my drive to go to medical school and alerted me to the difficult conversations that doctors have with their patients. 3. Goosebumps by R L Stine. I wouldn't be a reader without this series to keep me company during my childhood. 4. Chicken Noodle Soup for the Teenage Soul (and other such books). These books gave me life during my tumultuous puberty and early teenage years. They helped me sort through my depression, self harm, and sexual assault when I wasn't ready to talk about it with others. They also made me feel that I wasn't alone and that I too could find my voice. 5. The Beautiful Miscellaneous by Dominic Smith. This book kindled the researcher in me and drove me to study a fascinating sensory phenomena. After reading this I worked on 2 study projects, joined a research lab, and completed a research minor at my university. One that I can't leave out because you directed me to this book: The Kiss of Deception by Mary E Pearson because it combined strong women chasing after their dreams, fantasy, romance, and a mystery into one fantastic book. The strong friendships and families Leah forms in the book while she handles such tragedy that life throws at her in the book is something that pushes me to keep fighting today.

For me there are three big ones that changed my life. First Percy Jackson, it got me into reading fantasy and opened this whole world for me. And then Harry Potter of course, it just meant and still means so much to me and introduced me to the world of Fandoms. And the Throne of Glass series, it's just so close to my heart and I love all the characters and the story and the world and it inspires me so much. Just reading about Celaena and Manon and Elide and Lysandra, how they are all strong in different ways and take no shit, they really push me to find these strengths in myself.

For me, I have to thank The Gatekeeper series by Anthony Horowitz for introducing me to the oh soo lovely world of reading back in elementary school. The spiderwick chronicles was also inspirational to me and allowed me to escape into a different world, one that I could never fabricate with my own mind, and brought me sooo much joy as a child (this was my 'harry potter series' growing up haha). The secret circle & Vampire Diaries & Darkest Powers (all a little paranormal) series got me interested in YA. When I fell off the reading wagon in high school, I'm forever thankful for Cassandra Clare and her Infernal Devices series for yanking me back in (the emotions I felt reminded me of why I started reading in the first place) Lastly, I was immensely inspired by Holly Black and her book The Cruel Prince--thank you for pushing me into the realm of book writing.

This was such a cool video! I want a lot more to do this because it's so interesting how books affect people's lives. But it's a tough question to answer... I think I'll go with: 1. The Evergreen Woods, because my mom has read it out loud a million times and it started my love for books. 2. Harry Potter, because it was a place to feel safe and escape the real world at a time I needed it. 3. City of Bones, because it got me back into reading after a couple of years without reading more than what was required at school. 4. How Huge the Night, because it was the first book I translated which made me positive that I want a career in publishing (the Danish title is: Stor er verden, sort er natten). 5. The Bible, because I learn more about God and myself when I read it.

"The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L.F. Baum was the first book I read at the age of 5. "Le Bal" introduced me to my favourite author ever, Irène Némirovsky. Thanks to "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins I met my two best friends and I got in the world of fandoms. "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon made me understand that there's no place in the world I'll ever love more than Scotland. "A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again" by D.F. Wallace was the last book I read and it made me fall in love with new literary genres.

I absolutely love this video because it has similarly got me into thinking about how much a book can change a persons life. 1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas - This book series was recommended to me by my RA boss. I had previously been in a slump of reading that last years, but ever since that day I have felt so inspired to see the magic of books. The way she writes, her twists and turns, the romance and the fantastic (and book boyfriend Rhys

This video made me very emotional ❤❤❤❤❤❤thank you for sharing your passion for books and how it changed your life . Books in general changed my life but also your channel changed my life . When I was 7 years old my mother's boyfriend abused me (sexual abuse ) for 5 years and when it end I started loving books more and more . I looked for someone that shares my passion for books. So that's how I found your channel, your book recommendations made me smile and I had something to be excited about ( when a new book came out ) My English improved as well . My passion for reading grew a lot because of your channel and now I'm ,,working " in the library in my school . The books that changed my life : Kiss of deception by Mary E. Pearson . Because I got that book from my dad and it was the first thing I ever got from him after 5 years seeing / meeting him . - city of bones series by cassandra clare. I really loved that series sooo much .and it made me feel a lot better trough dark times like my depression and PTSD. Thank you sasha . Love from Germany ❤❤❤

1- L'éducation Sentimentale (Sentimental education) by Flaubert 2- Les Contemplations by Victor Hugo 3- Terre des Hommes (Wind, sand and stars) by Saint Exupery 4- Outlander by Diana Gabaldon 5- Les nouvelles orientales by Marguerite Yourcenar (Oriental Tales) I really recommend these books although I'm French so I don't know if the books translated are as powerful especially for Flaubert who was so precise with the words he chose. I hope the translations really respected what the authors were trying to say and convey (emotion wise etc...) through their works.
