Back in the day I carried an aluminum hair comb and sharpened one edge of it. Back in the day when I was fishing for tuna the deck hands would drill the end and put 45 lead slugs in the end and use epoxy to seal them in.

But he has great logic. In defense and war whatever works is what works. Speak to many real combat vets especially in Vietnam backwards and there is many many different circumstances. Don't pigeon hole anything. Use it all. USMC Retired 20 years. Learn it all.

Number two is affective, but the arm flying over shoulder should not over extend over the shoulder, especially straight, should only snake across neck, not over like shown.

Agreed. Saw a similar version by some "big names" in Jiu Jitsu and Grappling years ago. Technique works by driving the arm through the neck.
