Tamron 35-150 is my absolute favorite. Still can't believe they gave us that focal length. And that it goes to 2.0 on the wide end. Incredible lens!

Something I've been weighing up. A7iiis or FX30? Is the FX30 still pretty good in low light situations? That's the main feature I'm fighting with.

what is the rod/arm in the foreground at 2:37? I'm curious because it looks like you are using it for stabilization/another point of contact

That’s a magic arm holding the 360 camera filming me

Hi Peter, Would you recommend the Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 or the Sony 70-200 F4 macro for basketball videos (I am shooting with the FX3 and A7IV) Considering one is. better at low light the other one has lens stabilization... I am still hesitating between the two. or go with the third option the new Tamron 70-180 f2.8 G2?? im not sure how good is the stabilization on that lens.

Hey man big fan and supporter of the page been juggling between continuing with canon or switching to sony How often has the crop and low light performance effected you with the fx30 I’m trying to branch into the sports media world and I’ve shot a few games but worried I may just be following the herd lol

Hey there! I haven’t had a ton of issues with the FX30 in low light. It’s obviously not great like the FX3 or A7Siii but I feel pretty confident bringing it up to ISO 5000. Practically when shooting at night this means I’ll sometimes drop to 60fps with 1/120 (1/125 I guess) shutter rather than film at 120fps with an over cranked shutter so that I can expose my image correctly, though that isn’t a huge sacrifice to make. Regarding the crop, I actually love it because when I’m filming field sports I can use wider lenses rather than bulky super telephoto stuff and still get the same reach.

do you have any tips on growing on instagram it feels like i’ve been stuck at the same amount of following for a very long time. does the boost feature help at all

I’ve been finding some success with organic growth by incorporating my work into instagram reels using trending audio. A lot of people seem to be scrolling through reels that have currently popular audio on them and Instagram seems to be pushing these types of videos as well as reels in general quite a bit. I wouldn’t worry about boost or anything like that, just focus on new ways to promote yourself organically first and foremost. I made a video that I’ll link below where I talk more specifically about some of this stuff kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGeQkolml9Cfg9Usi=ybSmlQbt_Ovt4iXt
