5 Cards NOT TO PLAY in Ogdoadic Decks - Yugioh Master Duel

"Venom" needs a massive rework and a new wave of support to even have a chance in the meta. New cards that maybe let you summon Vennominaga while ignoring summoning conditions are probably the only way to make it viable. I have had some good success with an Ogdoadic deck with some reptilianne inclusions though. I feel like Reptiles as a creature type in general could use a boost.

I think you're right about that 😂 maybe a way to plop it down for a different summoning condition that isn't so slow and convoluted. I like the idea of counter reptiles. Alien doesn't quite get there, so it'd be cool to get venoms who debuff the opponent in different ways

@@Dehalove Definitely. I think a good retrain of Venom Swamp("Venom Bog", maybe for name?) that is WAY more punishing to creatures with venom counters on them could help tremendously. And maybe the alternate summoning condition could involve the venom counters. Y'know, what the rest of the venom archetype outside of the boss monsters seems to care about? lol

U can bring out vennominaga with trap tracks, go into slicer lock, special venominon from grave with the ogdoadic spell and Set trap tracks

It's a cute gimmick build but it is still a horrible set of inclusions

I play a reptillian deck and I disagree with offering to the snake diety. I always have something to offer

I prefer Offering to the Snake’s Deity on Twin Twister (against Mine, for example). It’s more versatile. The only weakness is Zombie World, but you can side Twin Twister for game 2 in case

@DarkLynx00 Interesting idea! It doesn't work the turn you draw it though which is far too slow against negation traps and floowandereeze backrow. That being said now you have me wanting to build a trap deck around melusine since she can't be destroyed by card effects

i found DNA Surgery and Rebirth Judgement to be good counters for Zombie World, assuming they're activated after it.
