thanks a lot , but i have a comment here, acute hypersensitivity pneumonitis tends to have central involvement, whereas chronic one is the one to have peripheral involvement..thanks a lot again..really great effort.

You're welcome, and good point about acute HP!
@linstitut85192 жыл бұрын
8:22 min , correction the pattern of COP is a differential diagnostic for chronique éosinophilique pneumoniae ( carington ) and not acute .
@Radquarters2 жыл бұрын
Excellent point, this was an unusual case that actually had both diagnoses at the time of biopsy.

Great cases and greater explanation Despite the fact i am a physician not a radiologist but i enjoy your series I have a silly question, how differentiate case number 5 from pleural thickening and pleural plaques? Don't they also have similar appearance?
@Radquarters Жыл бұрын
Appreciate that, and I'm delighted that you enjoy the series. The presence of subpleural sparing and the reverse halo sign are clues of organizing pneumonia that we don't tend to see with typical pleural thickening. We see some air bronchograms in this case which indicate airspace consolidation as opposed to pleural disease. Also, the images shared in this case are in lung windows, but soft tissue windows would help to further identify pleural thickening. Finally, pleural plaques are often calcified, particularly in the setting of asbestos-related pleural disease, which we don't see in this case.

Respected sir daniel please add the term home taking point after every case…………..and pls slow down ur speech also ….very speedy….as most of learner are not English speaking……..they can understand better if speed is slow////thanks ❤️
@Radquarters2 жыл бұрын
Hi muhammad NAEEM, excellent suggestion about adding take home points; if you watch my more recent 5 in 5 lectures, I started adding a "Rapid Review" section at the end where I summarize the key points for each case. I'm sorry about the fast speech, I get excited about discussing radiology! I would recommend clicking the settings button at the bottom of the KZbin video player, then you can change the playback speed to exactly the speed you would like me speak :)
