Outlaw a lot of people have been having issues with the DWX and Dan Wesson has been blaming the customers. I got the compact cleaned it, lubed it and went to the range. Put 120 rounds through it and then the trigger stopped resetting. Took it home cleaned it, lubed it and went back to the range a few days later and had the same results. Sent it in and Dan Wesson told me the gun was dry and dirty. I returned it on the spot. I've been hearing about problems with the full size which socks because I REALLY want that gun. But for 2K I need it to work.

After waiting right around 4 years for the DWX, I've been extremely pleased with mine. All I've done is add a set of LOK GridLOK grips, and a GridLOK magwell to balance it out. After 2.5k rounds, 0 issues, and it's gotten so much smoother.

DWX uses P-09/P-10 F mags, and I bought a bunch of the 20 round mags for mine. I love that gun, and I’m fine with the iron sights.

Chris, you should get a couple of Grand Power's handguns. External Hammer-fired, and the new striker-fired. They have a feel of their own and are tac drivers right out of the box. Fantastic triggers and absolute ease of followup shots due to the rotating barrel assemblies and crazy noticeable recoil reduction. 🤘

Just got my 4.25" prodigy yesterday... so far I have zero complaints. I waited for them to work a lot of the bugs out... one thing I've noticed is it seems the black guns have a problem with the cerakote inside the gun flaking off and gumming it up. I haven't experienced that with the coyote tan gun i purchased

I still kind of have the dwx on my wish list. However, I recently got my first Shadow 2 so that kind of took the discretionary benjamins for now. Although that Kimber seems to check a lot of boxes😂 We do have a LGS that stocks them.

Guess he forgot about the Laugo Alien! Also just learned about the RIA 5.0E; haven't seen the Outlaw test that but pretty sure he would like it. Looks clever and well put-together; the innovations make it simpler and reduce recoil. People are put off by the price because they're used to cheaper quality from the brand, but it's actually well-machined, hand-fit, and designed for competition.

I almost thought #4 was a break action revolver. It's a huge shame top break revolvers haven't made a comeback yet. I'm sure technology in 2024 could limit or iron out the reliability issues of them and even bring back dead calibers.

11:03 the DWX ignition is a series 70 1911 and thus NOT drop safe. it is also more of a hybrid between a CZ P-09 and a 1911. the CZ-75 influence is largely just the grip geometry and magazines on the compact

It's crazy how bad fitting the slide on and m&p 5.7 is but it doesn't seem to matter at all. It's just nuts to me how you can hold that thing up sideways and the amount of light you see threw the thing is crazy

The reason the Dwx isn't popular is because it is a cz gun they own them, and it honestly isn't as nice as a cutom shop shadow imo. I'd rather spend 2100 on a shadow with tuned mags.

The DWX is not a cheat code gun. I have had 3. The trigger is shit from the factory. The gun has poor balance and a little extra recoil. The reason you don't see them is poor CZ/DW support, little aftermarket parts and quality issues. My Shadow 2 Orange Optic Ready shoots circles around it with a much better trigger..
