Great Tips. Amazing visuals. ...i Personally go with Sony A7SIII + 24-70 f2.8 and Weebill-S Gimbal. It is so light weight compared to DJI and still strong enough for the heavy lenses.

The RS2 is less than 100grams heavier and can handle significantly heavier lenses and setups.

A good tip for the shallow pull is to start in focus then pull out. Then I just reverse the clip in post. This was a great video thanks!!

This is a solid tip! I'd just add that you need to make sure there aren't things like running water in the background or a lot of hair movement or it'll look funky.

Parker/Jake, I’m a bit late to the party here but I wanted to thank you for making this film, very helpful. I don’t know if you would have time for a question, if not I understand. In this example that you have posted here, how are you generally handling the focus for your camera while shooting? Are you allowing the camera to auto focus, are you using the focus wheel on the RS2 handle or perhaps some other method? Thank you if you get a chance to reply.
@SloanAndCoMedia2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark! I dont know exactly what they did, but I'm almost positive hes using auto focus. I use the sony A7iii and on First on tab 1, page 5/14, make sure you focus mode is continuous AF, then Balanced emphasis, then balanced emphasis again, then below that i have mine set to "zone."... On tab 1 page 6/14, on "Face/ Eye AF settings" make sure "Face Eye Prty in AF" is set to on, then also below that set to human. And I have my AF Track Sens set to 3... On Tab 1 page 14/14 make sure "Regist. Faces Priority" is set to on. I hope this helps!!!! I saw a really good video on focus settings so you can play around with it, if i can find it I will comment the link below.

Why are some shots in final sequence so choppy and some have weird colors and noise??
@baxx_music2 жыл бұрын
For the choppiness I think it's because he slowed down a nested clip. For the colors I think it's because he really pushed the color grade & used a denoiser.
@JanSur2 жыл бұрын
@@baxx_music those shots with different colors look like from different camera.
@baxx_music2 жыл бұрын
@@JanSur it’s probably because of the direction of the light (because of a different composition) & time of the day that wasn’t the same from shot to shot. Sometimes it’s hard to color match shots that have those differences + the fact that you lose light as the sun goes down so he probably had to crank his ISO or exposure in post. That’s my guess but for sure the colors on certain shots don’t match at all & some have a lot of noise as you said.
@Geletin9112 жыл бұрын
It's most likely that his shutter wasn't double his frame rate and when he slowed it down it came out choppy. I noticed it too, looked pretty bad.

Hey great video bro! Very educational! Can’t wait for my next wedding. Will be practicing these moves this week for sure! Thanks! Had a couple questions. Did you use an ND filter? Also what was your frame rate on the camera and focal length on the lens? I think I heard 50mm but it also sounded like 15
