Namaste Leila, Wonderful lesson about some common British English Expressions. With help your lesson I found and learned some new informal English expressions and how to use these. Some other expressions: 1. Dench. 2. Dim. 3. Doddle. 4. Full of beans. 5. Gobsmacked. 6. Pop your clogs. * Blinder - to pull blinder involves achieving something difficult faultlessly and skillfully. * Cost a bomb - expensive - - - I hope so, it cost a bomb. * Bob your uncle - It used to describe process which seems more difficult than it actually is. Could you please correct. Thank you.

@LoveEnglishUK5 жыл бұрын
This is great! But don’t tell her ‘ oh bloody hell with you’! Lol! Also, ‘faff’ doesn’t mean waste, so you can’t say ‘faff my time’ but you can say ‘she’s faffs about and wastes my time’ 👍💕👩🏻🏫🇬🇧

💚 It's good to know these British Expressions. You should tell about it more. I'll write it down for any case one day could be very useful. Depend if my boss or interviewer etc. would be a crazy British. 😄 Some expressions are normal in one country, others are offensive. "To the hell with this bloody thing." Our ex PM Bob used it in nearly every public speech. That's why he was so popular every farmer understood, that's not good. 😄
