I think it's interesting that the Fallout IP is owned by Xbox, a division of the real life largest American company. A company that, just like Vault Tec, has a labarynthian portfolio of subsidiaries and other assets, and has also taken on military and government contract work.

Its weird that the cyanide stuff they made was bananna flavored... You'd think it'd be Almond or Apple flavored since apples contain cyanide and Cyanide gas smells like almonds... 6th common misconception: “Vault-Tec”, as in the people from the company itself and not from the Vaults, was never a relevant (or even existent) faction after the War before the TV Show and Skyline Valley. Also note that both the Show and update released close to each other, almost as if it’s the new narrative to be pushed through!

​@kahrnivor 1) they literally suggest vault tec started it out of vault tecs own mouth in the show. Vault tec has always been a potential starter of the war, but it was never as blatant as in the show. 2) He didn't even say that. He's talking about vault-tec as a post war faction.

@@sernathadd the proposed Fallout movie did state the vault tec president launched the first missiles which ignited the nuclear exchange. Now in regards to the show Vault Tec may have been planning to start or it was a faction of the company that wanted to start. Now planning doesn't mean they did it. China may very well have beaten them to the punch and hence earlier than they had planned for. Vault-Tec was sabotaging the peace negotiations and the chinese spys seem to have gotten info on the various experiments with the fev virus and other projects which may very well have caused the chinese to launch first.

Another misconception, it is spelled Vault-Tech. That is wrong. The correct spelling is Vault-Tec. I literally just notice that right now.
