I just recently learned that the bowline knot is not a rescue knot. Hurts me since I’m a navy man lol

Everybody makes knot tutorials, but nobody tells you the point of the knots and their strengths and weaknesses. They’ll get people tying square knots to bare the load of their body and fall to their doom. :/ . I’m just over here trying to learn how to do stuff lol
