Okay I love that you talked about incorporating props into your photos! I think that is so genius and not only does it help make photos more engaging but it helps position your content better for potential brand partners and companies that might want to work with you because they can more easily envision their products in your content. Great tips Laura!

Outside of KZbin, working and collaborating with hotels & restaurants is my full time job. Hopefully Laura won't mind me leaving this link here but I talked about pitching and some other tips in this vlogmas vid last year kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZemeIKtYpuWatk. I hope you find it helpful!

@@tltravel just checked it out. It really helped! I'm just so bad at asking people for things even though I know I have I have something of value to offer in exchange
@tltravel5 жыл бұрын
@@DebiparnaChakraborty glad that you found it helpful! I was pretty nervous about it at first but I find that as long as you explain the value they will get from your services, most hotels are very receptive and respectful (even if they decline) lol.

@@tltravel Totally agree on it! and you won't know unless you ask! If you create a professional looking pitch and show high quality examples of your work I think asking for free accommodation is fair!

Good tips and tricks, thanks! One thing though, if you bother to carry a tripod, you do not need someone else to push the button, you can set the shutter timer and voila. Or if you have a camera with wireless capability you can connect to your phone as well (for framing, seeing yourself in the respective spot and even shoot the picture). I was doing that with my husband (solo travelers), until I got too lazy to carry a tripod, it takes a lot of space, and the small travel ones are not sturdy enough to trust them with my camera By the way, I met your friend Cody in Brugges and told him that I've started to watch his vlog after I saw him in one of your videos. I think I've seen almost all of them (even before, when you were in front of the camera of your ex), love your vibe and energy and you are really talented. Keep up the good work!

Great tips Laura!! I should think about props more 🌺 My biggest challenge is always finding someone to take the pic. I need to travel with actual instagrammers!

Totally!! It’s definitely tough but I know of people who shoot on tri pods as well just by themselves! Defs a bit more difficult but doable if needed!

Hey Laura love these tips! Can you just expand on the last one? Like sometimes I’m at a location, I get overwhelmed that I have to: take good pictures, take B roll footage, then vlog and take Instagram stories....ON TOP OF THAT still enjoy the moment and actually tour!? Would love to know how you manage! Thank you!!!
@LauraReidd5 жыл бұрын
Totally! It's quite hectic and to be honest when I'm out and my main goal is shooting I don't really enjoy it that much in the moment. But I do get so much joy out of editing that content so as cool as it is to be there, really making it all come alive through the footage is what makes me happy. Sometimes I have to sacrifice getting everything and for me since my main focus is video I will get that over getting Instagram stories for examples. So if you're overwhelmed just prioritizing what is most important to you and get that done first whether it be photos, videos or IG stories and what not!

No I use Final Cut actually! I downloaded from youtube a subscribe graphic and since it’s on a green screen you can add the tool “keyer” to it and it gets rid of the background!
