Good tips well shown! While you are doing the drone shot you can make it 'fly' by holding the pole out sideways (so the camera is horizontal rather than vertical, but still pointing forwards to the horizon), then bring your extended arm upwards in an arc. The camera will end up in a vertical orientation, but the flowstate horizon levelling will deal with the change of orientation and keep the horizon level. You can't readily do that trick with the pole held in front of you as the camera will end up pointing at the sky as you raise the pole. Enjoy! and maybe take an iron pole next time you go in the snow so the pole will find the magnetic camera if you drop it again!

It’s a great camera for certain uses. I plan to use it mounted at the underside of my helmet while I do to trimming work aloft. It won’t work, however, for collecting audio from communication devices when I start my piloting career. I’ll have to use One R for that scenario.
