Dragons dogma one had wyverns, wyrms, drakes, and dragons. With the right differences. They even had a cockatrice. Dragons dogma 1 had way more enemies. And don't even mention how the dlc was newer that was still part of the game.

​@@ryangallegos3218 my reply is a little late but aim for the head, the armor takes little to no damage. Also, if you see them charging an attack, get away from them since the shriek will stun you and they get a free grab attack from it that puts a good dent into your max health loss.

I'm sad they took out the Wyrm and Wyvern. Cockatrice. Hydra. Evil eye. Etc. DD1 had more big monsters variety. Woulda been awesome to see them in different sections of each region than some of the same monsters like Ogres, Cyclops, and Griffins. Or some more new monsters.

Either the developers are marketing geniuses and have another 5 enemy types dropping in the next dlc or the dropped the ball big time and the sorcery spells are flashy but feel super slow and some what takes me out of the action waiting for spells to cast it would be cool if the had more auxiliary spell options for your quick cast

I got 1k+ hours on og dragon dogma and fully believe it has 4x the variety in combat and monsters. I hope we get a dlc. Don't misunderstand. I love DD2, but as someone who has been waiting for years, it's a bit lackluster. Especially what they did to the vocations.

Dragons dogma 1 had wyrms, wyverns, drakes, and dragons. They had a griffen as well as a cockitrice. It had everything 2 has and more. Although i dont remember any gorgons in 1.

Idk how it happened but I dozed off on an ox cart just to wake up to being attacked by 2 ogres a centaur and a damn griffin you don’t know the satisfaction I got killing all of them I was screaming a battle cry pounding my chest after that (this was pretty early I had just started one of the quests for sneaking into the palace)

The addition of the Dullahan is cool, the more variety of minotaurs and goblins is cool too. But wish Evil eye and cockatrice made it as part of the roster. Evil eye: cause it's cool fight (even if it's a rather annoying one if you're just using melee) and it just ain't a proper DnD type feel without a Beholder type thing to fight. Cockatrice: just cause of a specific pawn comment about it's head.

Of those 5, I’ve seen 3 (fought 2). The fact that you didn’t mention the Evil Eye (Beholder) is sad. Means it didn’t make the cut despite being a really cool design, and power set. I was also hoping they’d do some akin to the roaming ‘Death’ monster from Dark Arisen.

Also the griffin will leave the battle when it’s health gets low and appear to be fleeing then come back and land on you I was basically stalked by one for an hour before it came back 😂😂

Yes, each one can respawn. Once you have them take you to there nest you can mark where each one spawns so it’s easier to farm them

Everything is easy to kill. Everything but the dullahan….he gives me nightmares. The rest? Drop a tornado, formless feint or pelt it with explosives. They’ll die before the fight begins. It’s how I beat end game dragon. 2 fighters with shield drum, me and another sorcerer just dropping tornadoes. The headless knight dude? He zips around and disregards all things you have on. Got things to make you targeted less? Congrats on being his new punching bag. Got stuff to make it hard to knock you down? Say hi to the floor for me. No amount of distance can be gained. You HAVE to fight him on his terms because there are no one else’s terms. I’ve fought 3 of them now and hated. Every. Second of it.

Make sure to turn Talos into stone or let him be destroyed (take 10-15m). Without Talos in the end game, there's more dragons you can kill to acquire more dragon shards to buy more gear off the dragon shard vendor. If Talos survives, you won't have the extra fights and loose out on at the least 140 dragon shards.
